Lindo Jalisco Mexican Restaurant & Taqueria

First time visiting here. The restaurant looks really nice and clean. Great atmosphere. The servers were quick and really nice. Food got to the table very fast. My girlfriend loved the Miami vice (she even got a second). It was also filled to the brim. The chips and salsa were really good. Prices for the food were really good for the portions. The only complaint I have is the food was not seasoned at all. I got the chimichanga with shredded beef with double rice. The chimichanga was crispy and the beef was very tender, it just had no seasoning. Neither did the rice, it just tastes like plain rice. Girlfriend says the cheesy chicken and rice was the same way. Would love to see an improvement in the food and would be willing to come back.

We have lived in Ankeny for a few years now and have tried all the Mexican spots. We recently tried this place just last week and it is hands down the best in Ankeny. The food is authentic and the service is great. Also the prices are refreshingly affordable.

Sizzling fajitas are our favorite and I would recommend getting the ‘jalisco’ version (grilled with Mesquite).

Different than other Mexican restaurants in town. If you like margarita than you need to try the Libdo Jalisco with an extra shot of tequila, you will thank me later.

Servers were so welcoming and friendly with our kids; made their night! We especially loved the salsa options and mango margaritas!

My family comes in pretty regularly or we order online. It is always a great experience. The food is wonderful. The staff is kind and welcoming. I recommend the queso dip, spicy salsa, and quesadilla. Don’t forget the horchata!

We stopped at Lindo Jalisco tonight for our first visit. Everything about it was excellent. The food and service could not have been better. We will be back!

We had reservations so no wait. The food was delicious. The service was excellent. I loved the tequila shot machine gun (at no extra cost by the way). The price may have been a little high, but have you been to any restaurants lately? They all are! This was a great place to go.

I had the chicken Chimichanga, the chicken was very moist and tasty. All of the garnishments as well as rice and beans tasted great. I also enjoyed their spicy salsa. The food was plated neatly, sorry I didn't take a picture. The staff was friendly and attenditive. The restaurant was clean, well decorated and spaced well. I can't wait to go back to try more dishes.

First time and won't be the last. Great service. We shared chicken fajitas which was a generous portion. The drinks were delicious. Black Orchid martini being my favorite. Shots on the house was a bonus.

Lindo Jalisco is our all time favorite Mexican restaurant, with good variety of delicious menu’s and provide courteous and quick service to meet customer needs during the dining experience. They are top class.

Nice shaded outdoor seating. Drinks and food were great. The free shot of (good) tequila by the staff was a wonderful way to end the evening.
