Los Tulipanes reviews
18A college staple, Los Tulipanes will never lead you astray. They have fantastic chips and salsa, and I have yet to find something on the menu that I didn't enjoy.
One of our favorite local places to eat. Food is always delicious, and the portion sizes are very generous. Would recommend!
I had the Chicken Fajita Burrito which was very good. There was just the right amount of cheese sauce and seasoning and a proper mix of meat with onion tomato and green pepper. The burrito was accompanied by rice and salad. No beans. The serving size was generous and could be split between 2 seniors seeking a full size meal portion.
There was no sign advising you to seat yourself or wait. There was no wait staff visible, so i waited a minute before seating myself. A waiter appeared immediately to take my drink order. The drink came immediately as well.
The music was a bit loud but on theme.
Favorite place to get food. The food is always hot and served in a timely manner. They never disappoint. Larger portion size.
Excellent food and friendly staff. Our go-to place in Sioux Center when we're in town. Never disappointed.
Food was fantastic, but the service was bad. Could have been worse though, so I won't dock them too much.
We ate at the Chinese buffet next door. It was very good. Los Tallipalpalwhatever looks nice from the outside though.
Employees didn't make you feel welcomed and I asked for queso to 2 different people and never got it.
Came back and had an amazing experience from the last time I came. (Last rate was a 1 star)
Some of the BEST small business Mexican food I have eaten in the Midwest.and in Sioux Center, IA of all places. Authentic and delicious with very reasonable prices, especially on margaritas by the pitcher. The place was packed and the three waiters were overwhelmed and service was slow, but worth the wait. No Mexican music, so we used Spotify on my phone to create our own atmosphere. Order the tacos. Delicious and just the way we ate them in Mexico.
Food was delicious. Food also came very quickly after ordering. Serving staff are very attentive. Great experience.
The service and food was very good. I would recommend it as the best Mexican restaurant in the area.
I'm usually not a fan of Mexican food, and I feel kind of awkward trying to order something that I might like, but this place just seems comfortable. I ordered the pollo con piña and it was very good. It came with broccoli, cauliflower and carrots in a yummy cheese sauce. My husband said his steak was very good as well. The place was very busy on a Friday night, but service was very good.
Got more food than expected. We eat at restaurants similar in our town and we don't quite as much food.
Very friendly staff and incredible food. The portions are very large and also very affordable. We were pleasantly surprised with the food and margaritas.
Food is always good and service is great. Immediately sat and had chips and salsa at the table. Ordered and food came out within 15 minutes.
The food isn't amazing. It isn't bad but not great. The servers don't wait on tables very well. If you want a refill you have to motion for a waiter. Poor service
White washed Mexican food. Beans taste like canned beans. Rice has no flavor. No refills on horchata. My waiter looked like he hated his job. It was so quiet and there wasn’t even music playing. They even serve microwaved tortillas. The guacamole was old and brown. Waste of money.
