Lowe's Home Improvement, Coralville IA

Lowe's in Coralville, IA, definitely came through for me. I was on the hunt for a 15-foot Green Outdoor Light Duty Extension Cord, and let me tell you, they had it right there, easy to find and at a price that made my wallet happy. The store was well-organized, which helped me get in and out quickly. Seriously, why waste time browsing when you know exactly what you need, right? Staff were friendly and knew their stuff, so thumbs up for that as well. If you're in the area and need something for your home or garden, this is the place to go. A solid five-star experience all the way!

Sure do wish that their discount program wasn't for just one sector of the population though.

Bare minimum of Halloween stuff I’ve seen sparkler stands with more variety and they just sold sparklers.

Come one you guys used to be the kings of Halloween now you make the store 90% Christmas first week of October and presume a giant skeleton and a couple small things is a selection and appropriate for the current season.

I think Lowe’s has lost touch with what consumers want and what month it is making it difficult to keep holiday shopping local it’s sad to see.

Do better we know you got it in you.

Do not buy the protection plan through Lowe’s the service suck. We bought a Samsung washer and all we been getting is the run around. All I want is my washer fixed or send me a new one. We have had a technician out 3x and it will now for a fourth time. What’s the purpose of a warranty after 3rd X you would think they would be sending a new one. I bought a 5 year which protection plan and it’s only been 3 years glad I didn’t go with the 2 year plan we would’ve just been out of money.

Decent selection, only one checker working. Always have to use self checkout. Scanners constantly double scan items, so watch your reciept.

We were looking for a grill and the only one left was a display. Carol was wonderful and helped us take the sides off so we could fit it into our vehicle. Carol is very kind and knowledgeable about the products we truly appreciated her help!

Ordered some ceramic tiles after 2 weeks asking I got told they are on order. Never got a confirmation email. After another 2 weeks talking to the customer service desk, the manager and another person finding out this tiles got never ordered. What a messed up place in Cedar Rapids. Got my money back and got the tiles in Iowa City they had them in stock.

Don't trust lowes.

They'll tell you to contact them directly, but it's just so other people don't find out about the deceit they are doing.

This Lowe’s is located in Coralville Iowa I went there to buy two battery packs and a charger Kobalt brand and a free tool as it was advertised. As I was talking to the employee about the free tool to other gentleman came up. One‘s name was Verner and the other name was David. David was very rude and and being a smart Alec, which I did not appreciate at all being that I am a disabled veteran and I was in a riding cart doing my shopping. My wife was with me. The employees had no idea about the battery pack and the free tools they didn’t think I was telling the truth and tell my wife had to look it up online and show them. I was very displeased with the customer service that David provided. I have visited this Lowe’s previously and this is the first time that I have come across employees being rude. Hopefully the manager of the store sees this review and has a talk with David.

Overall, this store is pretty good with helpful employees and a large stock of home items. I have better luck finding what I need here than Menard's and employees are generally friendlier.

Minus one star for the terrible key kiosk from Minute Key. USE THIS AT YOUR OWN RISK. I copied 12 keys that didn't work. The store does not reimburse for keys that end up not working and you have to go through a tedious customer service process with mailing photos, filling out forms, etc.to get your money back. IMO, they should really get rid of this vendor as it reflects poorly on their business.

Picked up some boxwood plants for yard. I purchase all my perennials at Lowes or local greenhouses.

I have had two Weber grills delivered. The first grill did not work properly, the ignition system would not light the propane and the knobs would not turn with ease. Not what one would expect from a new top of the line Weber. The only way I could ignite the grill was manually with an extended lighter. I called customer service which promptly (1 week later) scheduled a pickup and delivery of a new grill. The second grill was delivered today partially assembled, with missing pieces so I am unable to complete the assembly even if I wanted to. Screws were loose, missing internal parks. Overall, very poor experience. Would not recommend this Lowes. Hopefully, I will eventually get a working grill.

Washer+Dryer Installation crew was very challenging to get a hold of, took a week to supply the correct parts, and tracked mud across a new rug that wasn't even on the path to the install. I will never purchase an appliance from this Lowe's again.

Lowe's has always had a weird layout and, while I don't remember what we were looking for, they didn't have it. Not my favorite!

My kind of place Lowe's Home Improvement makes me feel like Tim the Tool Man every time I'm in there. And they're very helpful when it comes to needing the helping hand to find what you want or what you need.
