Mac Shack, West Des Moines IA

Drove all the way here, looks like it has closed permanently, wierd because the doors are unlocked but no lights on and most seating is gone. I guess don't trust any place in a Mall

Not good not good at all horrible food ordered a BBQ chicken pizza and I've never tasted anything like that before it wasn't even pizza now the girl that was there today did an outstanding job at running the entire place by herself and one cook pretty impressive she was

It was clean and the food was good. There was not a whole lot to talk about. It's your standard sports bar with a Mac n cheese twist. The Mac was okay but really garlicky. My favorite part was the burger cooked to a perfect medium rare and piled high with everything. Our waitress was friendly and quick with service.

This place has it all. Large Menu, several TV's, and a play area for the kids and adults. A great way to occupy them before and after eating! And the menu ranging from Wings to Burgers to Cold Cuts and Pizza and of course Mac n Cheese! With good appetizers as well! I would definitely go back!

There was 1 waiter that I saw. He was at the bar and took care of all the tables and the bar alone. It wasn't busy at all. He gave a menu, took our drink order. Brought our drinks and took our meal order. Took about 20 minutes for our2 meals. He never came back to the table to see if we needed anything. The burger was good but the chicken strips were not good and tasted terrible. It tasted like their oil hadn't been changed in months. The burger meal portion was very generous along with a generous side. The chicken strip I had to pay separately for a side and my side I paid separately for was the same as the burger but half the size.
Not sure I will give it another try.

Bro this food was bad, the wings had blood on them, no seasoning, bruv the dude in the front was JARRING he was a skint the wings were also in seasoned like i don't know all around horrid

Decent bar food, just make sure you are in no rush. Service is SLOW. We had onion rings, wings, loaded tots, and some nachos. Everything was alright.

Food was delicious. We were given a dirty highchair for our baby and had to clean it ourselves. When a worker saw us cleaning it they didn't even offer to clean it themselves.

After reviewing my emailed receipt when I returned to my hotel I realized I wasn't even given the correct bill. The waitress just told me our balance and took my card. The items were completely different and the bill was a little less than what it was supposed to be.

Best burger ever! Huge and perfectly cooked! Lots cheese and cheese curds were amazing plus bacon and other adds.just yummy! With a side of cheesy Mac n cheese!

The worse place ever to eat the food isn’t that good the music not my style the service was really bad took us 45 mins to get our food after we was waited on. Never go back.

I stopped by for lunch with my wife, They took care of our orders and even added the egg to our burgers as requested. Will be back again for sure.

The food is great but the service is not the best. The staff is very polite but it just seems to take awhile for them to get our food ordered and they are not very prompt at drink refills.i can't entirely blame the staff though because it seems like they are understaffed.

Julia is by far the best waitress I have ever had! She greeted us right away and made sure we had everything we needed. She is so sweet and funny! If you go here, request Julia, you won’t be disappointed!

Not very busy for a Tuesday lunch so not much of a wait for placing our order and getting our meal. We both had their club sandwich which was well prepared. The fries were really good. We will return.

Mac n cheese with pulled pork was very good. Gentleman at bar a bit loud. This kind of to be expected at a bar twenty feet away from tables.

Today was the worst experience in your restaurant, it wasn't that busy when I was in around 215pm the server was horrible had to come up twice to get my drink first round on the wings were good, the second set were burnt and cold.

This place is a little hidden gem. Good burgers and good mac & cheese. I love it when my office orders out for it. Probably one of the best burgers in town.

Walked out. Didn't get asked what I wanted to eat after drinks got dropped off, but the dude was clearly frantic. Management is delusional if they think staffing a single person in front over lunch is a good idea.

This place has the best wings and Mac and Cheese varieties. My kids really enjoy the food and it's reasonably priced for large portions. If they make a mistake they fix it! Friendly staff.

The layout of the restaurant is nice. Our waitress was polite. The appetizers were good.

However, the tea was very watered down and tasted like ice water. The service was extremely slow. We waited more than a half an hour just for our appetizer. There was no one available to greet customers, so those who came in to the restaurant looked confused and wandered for a little bit before realizing that they could seat themselves. The menus were sticky
