Friendly staff. Mostly clean facility. Only 2 of the 6 showers in the men's locker room have good water pressure.

Very nice facility—with a pool that is rarely available. The large pool is only available for lap swim by sign up only, and it’s difficult to reserve a spot. The smaller, shallower pool is usually full and it’s not great for adults and teenagers. We would appreciate if you’d make the large pool available for a family swim from time to time.

Terribley rude front desk staff, lady was reading a book making people wait for her. Not very accommodating at this location and not friendly. My daughter has mental health issues and the staff weren't able to even be nice or polite very snappy. Definitely don't recommend going unless the get new staff.

If you are a hooper, don't sign up here, EVER. There are so many other options that have more hoopers to play in anyways. The courts are constantly closed to "youth activities", and even the court schedules on their website are often erroneous. On weekends you'd be lucky to have 1 hour of open gym court to the public.

Bad with communication. I take my son for swim lessons and they don’t even care to let us know about cancellations.

The staff is very helpful, accommodating and friendly. It is very clean and inviting. Just an all around good-vibe environment. I’m loving it.

Never been to this place! But I saw it being built Last year and the year before that at that time, Definitely an upgrade From the original. Considering the original was old as Hell and Not very big to begin with! And I know For a Fact that that was one oF the biggest complaints there, the only problem that I don’t get, Is why they chose to put it all the way on that side instead oF it being closer somewhere in the uptown area. It’s Like they wanted it there For the people in that area to begin with! Which in My opinion is Not Fair and Not right, It should be catered to everyone. Not Just a select Few!

It’s always something with the pool time there. Every time I call someone says one thing and another person says another. I can never just go swimming.

I have really enjoyed amyexperience at the YMCA, except for one person. I talked to Jason, fantastic person, and it seems that this person has been working out or 13 years. All he is does is weights, never cardio and he is constantly grunting and making all kinds of horrible sounds. You would think that he is about to have a heart attach. The staff at the YMCA has asked him to stop, but he will not. So, be aware if this person is there and you can hear him everywhere, your at at the YMCA will not be that enjoyable, I know Planet fitness does not allow this kind of behavior.

Too small and the courts are almost always occupied. It's not like you have a dozens other options to play basketball in this type of weather. If you're not signed up for something it's almost pointless to come here.
The weekend hours are terrible.

Large, clean areas. Many machines to use. Basketball, racquetball, pickleball, child care, pool.
Crowded parking, very busy after work.

Just joined last weekend. So far I've only played racquetball a few times and done a spinning class. The facility is really nice and the class registration system is pretty easy to figure out.

I play volleyball here. The courts are big without ceiling obstructions (like basketball poles) and has lots of room to change/put on gear. It's a very nice facility.

First time at this one, it's amazing. Huge, clean, lots of parking. A little too bright because of all the white walls, but overall, very nice.

Inviting atmosphere, professional and friendly staff, updated equipment. All this makes going to the Marion YMCA very enjoyable.

So disappointed in the pool. Only ladders to get in and out of pool! Come on, why weren't there steps put in like the old Y? Would like to be able to go back to Water Aerobics but can't because having weak knees and cannot do the ladders. Pretty poor designing of the pool.

Very modern, plenty of room to accommodate all activities, will visit as often as possible!

The new facility is top notch. Walking track, 1/16 (?) of a mile weight area, swimming pool. Classrooms a spin bike class set up. Love also that unlike most other workout facilities, there is a shower area. Perfect to grab a workout in the way to the daily grind.

Fantastic place for the family workout. Good quality equipment, friendly staff, easy on the pocket, good coaches for swimming, basketball etc, group fitness and many more. Highly recommend.
