I had a client in town as we sat down we overheard a waitress tell another waitress, “Nobody wants them, you can take them. ” Rude and unprofessional, as it put my client and self in an uncomfortable position

Food quality is inconsistent.shrimps were cold.our waitress was in a bad mood and not very attentive to us.took forever to get soup and salads.crumbs all over all of the chairs.not impressed.

I love their food menu in the bar area. Love their original margaritas on the rocks. Excellent taste.

So disappointing. Looked so forward to returning Maxwell's to enjoy a wonderful dinner.but unfortunately that is not what we received. There were only three tables all ready seated when we arrived, two servers, a bartender and a hostess and yet the service was so slow. When we received our food, it looked great but was barely warm at all. The presentation was awesome and the flavors were good, but with the food temperature being barely warm it ruined our dinner out. Not sure how or why since our last visit was so wonderful. I do hope this situation gets addressed. Our visit was on 9/17/23

Everything was great! Very clean. I recommend the buccatini. The bacon burger is also excellent

We loved spending our anniversary here. Our favorite items were the parmesan herb crusted fries and triple berry cheesecake! We will come again.

18 in our group. Service was quick and competent. One server. Burrito at brunch was excellent.

Stayed for 3 nights, food was a great improvement over what I had a few years back. Room service was amazing!
Parking was so.so.my only real complaint, but the management staff is aware, and hopeful to make some changes!

What a wonderful upscale restaurant by the river. Excellent food and service. Mac and cheese to die for, spicy burger so tasty, those Parmesan fries! Enjoy!

All four in our party loved the entrees we ordered. The atmosphere was a little lacking, being a hotel lobby, but that didn't detract from my overall 5 star score because the food was so good. We will be back whenever we are in the area.

French Onion soup was very cheesy and tasty.

The Rueben was flavorful and the fries were crispy on the outside and moist on the inside.

I had the Pecan crusted chicken with a side of risotto and parm fries. My gf had the filet with a side of mash.

Everything was amazing! I have been to a lot of different places to eat. It takes a lot to impress me. I was very impressed with Maxwell's On The River. I will for sure be back in the future.

Stopped in for lunch and had an outstanding selection of salads, sandwiches and sides! The Ruben and Berry burger were delicious. Both served with a side salad. The salads was excellent, fresh and flavorful.

We had sides of clam chowder, sweet potato fries and wings. All were delicious with nice presentation.

Service was excellent as well with nice views from the large windows overlooking the river.

Definitely recommend!

Fancy, fine dine restaurant with a great river view! Food cooked to perfection. $$$ it's pricey but well worth the fancy dinner! Great waiters/waitresses

It was far from a quiet romantic meal for my birthday! Way too noisy in the open concept dining area and the only view we got were the smokers smoking outside and the cars pulling up to the front lobby door. Personally, the dining room should be located upstairs on it's own! The food was adequate: the french onion soup did not have any baked bread crumbs in it and way too much wine? ! The filet mignon bled all over the mashed potatoes because they placed the steak on the potatoes! Big Mistake! Drinks were okay but my husband has had better Old Fashion and my pop was different tasting in the rum. Couldn't put my finger on it. Not satisfied in the least. Oh, and we wanted salt, pepper & some additional butter but by the time we flagged our waitresses down, the food was cold. I "get" the slow dining experience but come check on your table for their needs and wants at least once! We spent plenty of $ for 2 people and walked away dissatisfied. We will continue to go out of town for our 5 star meals and ambiance.
