McDonald Family Dentistry, Urbandale IA

This was (sadly) my first dental appointment since Covid. Alexis, dental hygienist did a wonderful job of cleaning and polishing my teeth before Dr McDonald gave me a clear plan for my dental health.

Called for an appointment and was able to get me in the next day and Alexius did an awesome job cleaning them!

Great experience. I was a new patient with a lot of dental history. Dr. McDonald was very thorough and explained things well. Hygienist Alexa was excellent. Office staff are very pleasant. Would highly recommend.

The customer service is truly amazing. Everyone always goes over and above!

All of the staff are warm and friendly. There is no wait time and service is never rushed.

Very friendly, sensitive to patients concerns. Excellent at explaining procedures in laymen terms. I have never felt judged. They ask about your well-being, don't rush, gentle hands through the procedure and always show genuine care.

From the first call to the office to my first visit, I was very impressed. I just had the feeling when I went to the office to complete my new patient paperwork the day of my visit that there would be forms with my name at the desk, and there was. I am not good with names but I believe it was Monica that followed through as there was Spring break between my initial call and my initial visit. Dr. McDonald’s assistant (sorry for no name recall) was as cordial and knowledgeable as could be. Dr. McDonald was personable, made me feel comfortable, and very informative on my issues. I could not be more pleased! Thank you.

I have been going to Dr. McDonald for quite awhile now. I have never been disappointed by the service by all the staff. I have dreaded to go to the dentist since I was a kid and I have never dreaded to go see Dr. McDonald. I highly recommend using McDonald Dentistry.
