McDonald's, Waverly IA

The McDonald's in Waverly is the best I've had. The food was amazingly fresh and hot!

Drove 30 miles one way to take my grandchild there for supper and to enjoy the playplace, only to find the doors locked on a Friday eve at 6 pm! And not the first time this happened. Pathetic wjen you can't even keep the lobby open.

Staff was super friendly, especially Addison who even made small talk with me while we were waiting in the drive-thru They were super quick and friendly about fixing an issue with my order and I would 100% come here again

OK they’re going to get the brunt of this however McDonald’s why don’t you do something about your ice cream machines if you go through that much ice cream why don’t you have somebody come in and examine that ice cream machine once a day so you never have to tell people that you don’t have ice cream. Because I have been through it now to McDonald’s and both her ice cream machines were broke down my kids wanted McDonald’s ice cream but we can’t even have it so we’re gonna go to the Dairy Queen where they always have ice cream

Food is always good. Always hot, but cool enough to eat right away, and the decore for the interior of the Waverly one looks good. I just miss the old decor, but the new decor is fabulous

Fries can be limp, personally prefer crisp. Chicken nugget 40 PC tasted a little old/stale.
10 PC and fries gotten a few days later were fresh and hot.

Very good Experience. Great customer Service and from the drive thru at that. She even asked if we wanted doggy treats for our two doggos. (we didnt need them cause we got them nuggies) but very awesome of them to ask.

Fast, usually good enough food, but i ordered a spicy deluxe chicken sandwich and the piece of chicken was absolutely tiny.when i think deluxe, i think like a 0.5lb piece of meat, not the size of two of my fingers.it also wasn't even spicy.they probably just took the money and gave me the wrong food

Good and fast service but when I get a sweet tea from the drive through they miss one of the key ingredients every time. That ingredient would be the sweet part so I’m left with sim river water to wash down my burgers and fries. Other than that grate service.

McDonald's in Waverly Iowa has done some updating and it is fabulous! I have two happy little girls. The play place is completely new and full of lots of fun for all the little ones. They've also added big tablet / screens that they can play games/puzzles on together. We have missed the play place so much and are so happy that it's open again!

It’s always a hit or miss for me when I come here. Don’t get me wrong, the food is always good. The staff is just simply not friendly sometimes. I feel almost like a burden coming. I understand it’s not the most fun line of work but don’t treat me like a nuisance, please.

I mean, McDonald's ratings are relative. So 2 stars overall, but a well run restaurant with the best bad McDonald's food anywhere.

I waited nearly 5 minutes for them to take my order when I ask questions about things they acted like they were annoyed I suggest you go to another McDonald's if you want to have McDonald's food

Food always greasy. Fries cold and over salted. Soda was cold and refreshing. Please put some meat on the cheeseburgers. I can get a better sandwich for a better price at a gas station.

I totally understand everyone is short staffed and tired of working that way, but yesterday my husband and I went there, to get sandwiches. I ordered a double cheese burger.two of them, I received mg order and only had buns, no burger.come on now

1: 30 AM it took 8: 24 to get my order, that I didn't eat.
If you don't have employees to staff the store, I saw one unhappy young lady at both windows. Why be open?

This is the first time I've given a McDonald's a five star in a long time. The manager was very nice and very helpful and employees seemed very happy. Keep up the good work.

Not a fan of kiosk ordering. The whole experience was very impersonal. Food was mediocre at best.
I will avoid going there again.

I dont think the tables are being wiped off like they should. They just wipes the end if theres only 2 people sitting there. People sneeze and couph all over the table. And different rags should be used for table top and other for seat and floor. We, ve seen it happen. Many times table has syrup still on them.
