McDonald's, Creston IA

Pulled into drive thru to grab a quick burger and drink and was told to just a minute. We waited and then another vehicle pulled into other lane and was told just a minute. We waited a few more minutes and she came back on their intercom and took their order first, which was multiple orders. I left because this is the third time this has happened to me but thankfully this time I was in the outer lane and not trapped in the inner lane.

Been years since I'd been in this Mcd's, but was pleasantly surprised. The place was clean, service was good & food was pretty good as well. Sandwich was made as it should be, not just tossed together and fries were fresh. Even the apple pie was within the "eat by" time.

I was honestly scared to give this place a try after seeing the reviews and knowing it hasn't been the best in the past, but we stopped by twice on Memorial Day weekend, once for food and again just for drinks and were impressed by the fast, friendly service and decent food. Better than expected!

We waited forever for our food and when we got our order there were things missing and what we did get was made wrong 0 out of 10 do not recommend

Waited to get a refill on drink and a employee walked right by me they got busy due to a track meet. And was rude letting everyone in building know lobby closes in 10 minutes while people where waiting for their food

Fries are ALWAYS cold, whether they're busy or not. Egg McMuffins would be great, except for the EGGSHELLS. This has happened the last two orders. There will not be a third.

I gave the Creston Iowa McDonalds, a 3rd try, hoping it was better, than the other two times I visited.
I will NOT return to that one, ever again! Big mac was cold and fries were WAY over done hard and crunchy and about room temperature.
Drink was about 2/3rds full.
NO NAPKINS EVERY TIME!
Also, i asked about the sign that said 20 nuggets for $6. Was told, she did not know why that sign was up, because they do not have that to offer.
WILL NEVER RETURN TO CRESTON IOWA MCDONALDS!

The manager in the creston that’s working tonight needs fires waited 40 minutes for my food then to have it be wrong and cold this happens all the time there something needs to change people that work there are not worth 5 bucks a hour

This was my first time eating here since they reopened. The gal at the money window could have been friendlier, but the guy at the window who was giving us our food was super friendly and nice! We did have to wait a few minutes for our food, but it was hot and fresh. Best fries, burger, and burritos I've had at a McDonald's in a long time.

1 Star is honestly too much. We waited 15-20 minutes to pay at the counter after using a Kiosk. No one was in line ahead of us… employees saw us waiting and didn’t not help us pay. Eventually, there was a line behind us. Still no customer service. We FINALLY paid. 40-45 minutes later we still had not received our food and multiple customers that came in and ordered after us, received their food. We eventually asked where our food was… absolutely NO where. Not to mention, we waited with a VERY hungry baby (1 year old)! After trying to calm our baby down, we finally had to give up. HE WAS HUNGRY! We ended up getting a refund, leaving, and went to Taco Johns. Horrible customer service.

Received wrong order hot food was cold and dry reheated when served. Customer service was extremely lousy! Would never recommend to anyone and 4 others walked out after waiting 15 mins n not even being addressed.

Absolutely horrible experience. Drive thru line was clear out in street. Went inside to find same issue, nobody taking orders. We left and went elsewhere.

Food was hot and fresh, service was quick and friendly.originally posted in May 2022. I visited again November 2022 to find the prices had increased (2 McRib meal in medium size was $10.50ish) but, the food has decreased. The McRib was smaller than previously had been and the medium soft drink was now a smaller sized hard plastic cup. I prefer the plastic cup but, was disappointed by the amount of pop now given.

I had my 5 cheerleaders after a meet. It was 10: 15 so the lobby was closed. Went to the drive and had to go around twice because they can't do more than 2 orders at a time. We were there a total of 40 minutes!

Went through the drive through and placed our order, when we got our food, the person at the window handed the bag to my husband, then shut the window. Said morning. Ok. We pulled forward, made sure there was at least napkins, and saw there was. Headed out of town, as I started getting the food out, and knew the instant I grabbed the first sandwich it was going to be bad. Yep, both chicken sandwiches, my bacon cheeseburger and the fries we're almost to the point if being cold. We were on a time crunch for the holidays, or we would have turned around and requested FRESH food. Instead I ate my burger, cheese not even melted.and couldn't even finish my fries. Understanding that you're a fast food establishment, this doesn't give you the right to serve cold food! Wasn't as if you were completely dead, constant line of cars were there as we went through. How can you have cold food. Very disappointed.

Slowest service ever and they consistently mess up orders. Maybe they’re just short staffed? Don’t know but they need help.

The Creston McDonald's has one of the best Atmospheres and such an contagious Happy Energy. I love it. They did an amazing job this morning!
