McDonald's, Grinnell IA

Meoun Black, the manager who's usually working nights, she's yelling, cursing at the employees, and gets orders wrong all the time and she thinks table service is counter service. She needs to go asap!

This branch is struggling with insufficient staff and inadequately trained staff. They are trying very hard but unless you have a great deal of patience, you may want to avoid this particular location at the moment.

Seems they don't have time to clean the tables or floor, and they both need it bad, but they do have time to stand behind me, on the clock, and talk about things other than work. Sad as usual.

We stopped there after going to Wal-Mart. I don't go through Grinnell often anymore but they seem to forget things more often than the other branches I visit. My granddaughter was VERY upset they forgot the sauce for her nuggets.

Big mac had so much sauce that took every finger i have to keep it together so could take a bite. COLD FRIES.every time. If you grew up when i did McDonald's was a treat or a family outing. My parents would drive the family to Newton just to get McDonald's french fries. Childhood memory that will not be forgotten.not sure now could ever live up to then.

Well the sink doesn’t work in the restroom, so that’s a bad sign. Then the line at the register inside doesn’t move because the drive thru line is out the parking lot and they’re out of several menu items. Easy call to walk out and leave.

The manager in the back yelling at the employees was a bit much. Could be heard loud and clear in the dinning room. Also one of our Big Macs was swimming in sauce.

If I could I would give this a zero rating. We dined in at this location ordered our food We waited almost an hour to get our food. I understand that it was rush hour by the time we got it my hausband buns for his sandwich was rock hard was hard to eat l. The employees and the managers need to learn how to communicate better during rush hour. Not likely to return.

Our Bus rolled in after a game and these amazing employees finished our order quickly and to perfection. Great attitudes and shout out to (Jamie) not sure on name…for taking a picture with our bus!

That manager Leah Altiano has got to go… she is the literally the worst manager that place has ever had.filthy restaurant.rude.a bite was taken out of my burger.even my cousin is ignored by staff as she was charged and Leah refuses to give her a refund or talk to her. Don’t come here.not until Leah Altiano gets thrown out of there!

Staff is too busy discussing their personal lives and what's going on in their personal lives. Discussing employees who don't show up for work.very unprofessional you can stand at the counter for 20 minutes without one person acknowledging you as they discuss their personal lives.
And that atmosphere reflects the way the food that you finally get is presented

I waited for 20 minutes for a breakfast sandwich and yes when you complain about almost every guest's order from the food line making orders, everyone waiting for their food CAN hear it!

My experience was horrible, I ordered 2 happy meals and they refused to give the extra fries instead of apple slices, which were brownish and slimy. The soda had too much syrup, once the ice melted it wasn't diluted, and was way too sweet. There reward system wasn't working, so my code didn't work and they just brushed it off like it happens all the time. The large fry container was split down the seas so fry were scattered all over the bag. I know this is a bunch of small thing but I haven been to a McDonald's for almost a year and it made for a horrible experience. Spending around a 1/2 hour in a drive thru with 7 cars didn't help any either.

Slow all the time. 630 am only car here and still waiting for long periods of time. It has just gotten to the point that it is known as the slowest fast food place. I typically spend 20-30 min at this McDonald's. If you are in a hurry or need a "quick bite", this is not the place to go.: (

Very disturb with the service, not only did it take 10 mins at the kiosk outside i waited 15 more mins at the window. I'm sure the woman who took the orders was drunk she kept asking what i wanted over and over again after i told her repeatedly. I ordered a QP with cheese with everything i only got onions, just onions no cheese just beef and onions.and on top of it she sneezed all over the register, very disgusting.

Wait times are often longer than you would expect. Some employees are rude and do not listen. Sandwiches are often sloppily put together.

Always have to wait in the parking lot for my food. This time close to 15 minutes. They forgot my sauces almost every time.

The food is not always on point, as special orders are more often than not incorrect. But the staff is generally nice and the lobby is usually clean.
