McDonald's, Mason City IA

Although I gave a 5 star rating, the impersonal interaction/ Disconnect, the lack of placing an order at a register with a real person compared to a screen is a turn away when it comes to the dine in option, our fries were lukewarm at best, there was one small pickle per mcdouble, we ordered 3 mcdoubles and 2 small fries along with 2 small cokes, the dining room area was decent, though again really lacked the feeling of being in a McDonald's somewhat, more then likely we will opt to just drive thru upon next visit, cash customers are obviously the minority nowadays- this is an update to our prior review at this location

Food was standard McDonald's. This particular location seems like the staff is always grumpy. Lots of flies in the dining room. Worst location in Mason City.

I got parts of my order wrong. Besides the wrong drink size, they "changed" the burger to save me money. I don't know if that screwed it up, or if someone else still couldn't follow directions. I just wanted a quarter pounder with bacon, ketchup only. I got a patty slathered with ketchup and no cheese noticeable. Couldn't help but notice actual children, like 16 looking were handling my food at the end. Maybe they shouldn't bother. Waste of time and money.

I order curbside on the app, but before I got there the app kicked me out before I was able to put my curbside number. I pulled up to the drive thru with my digital receipt and explained the situation. The manager was very understanding and put the order in herself. Very helpful and kind. She even threw in some cookies for the inconvenience. I’ll always appreciate what they were able to do for me.

I asked for a burger with only cheese and when I bit in it had everything on it. I am allergic to onions so I'm quite disappointed.

I ordered food from door dash and got my food at 930ish and when we opened the food my pies expired 816pm and or nuggets was burnt. Very disappointed

Inconsistent McDonald’s experience. Doesn’t sell bags of ice like expect and I have done at many other McDonald’s locations in numerous other states. Inconsistencies like this drives away customers.

Placed an order for a McCrispy and received a half fried, raw, uncooked, undressed, terrible piece of a chicken patty type of product. When in town again for a graduation we will NEEEVER stop at this place again. White haired Manager with glasses needs to do a better job of quality control, especially for rewards customers.

I was at kiosk and I pushed need help button cause I xouls not get scanner to scan code off my phone, and not one employee came to help, sure they walked by but was totally ignored. I was never acknowledged at all until I finally ordered my food and received it. Must of not been important enough to help a customer.

The guy who took my order was great. The lady who handed me my food was rude. She said my number, I told her that was me she said, "Ok, " and shoved the bag in my hand and walked away. Food was lukewarm and biscuits was a little hard.

This is a good McDonald’s. The food was good and my order was 10.46. The Chicken Nuggets (or McNuggets as McDonald’s calls it) are good. The McDouble Burger was good. I would recommend this place to other people if you were on the run, lunch break, and more. -Shy_Gun670

The making your own orders is dumb should be able to go to the counter and order your food

Old hag was rude as hell! Gave us attitude the whole time. Asked a simple question and was so snarky. ”WHAT DO YOU MEAN”. Didn't bother asking us anything.and just assumed it was to go when we walked in the restaurant and didn’t give us our cups at that. She’s seems as though she gonna croak soon so it’s understandable.even then tho if she’s that miserable you shouldn’t work.
