The mask and no children mandates really lowered this but what made it a 2 star is the fact they charge my debit card within seconds at purchase but will take 10 days to give my money back at return. Very poor policy and extremely outdated and possibly fraudulent.

Went to buy carpet and explained that there is a medical reason for not wearing a mask. Was told after an odd minute stare down ok you can go. After 5 minutes of looking at carpet was told we had to leave the store if we would put on mask. A shame to give up paying customers like that and will not be going back t o that store.

Assistant manager made up a rule about rebates and wouldn't accept the picture of my rebate that I keep on my phone so I don't lose the piece of paper. Nevermind the fact that the other 4 stores I've been to had no issues with it.

I bought 12 sheets of 16 foot tin and they loaded it up and got home and noticed that they loaded 14 foot sheets instead. So I called and they said they would make an even exchange. So I had to drive back down (30miles). When I got down there they only had 7 on hand. When I talked to the Dept manager Devon. All he said well what can I do.really that's all you can say.not impressed with the cocky attitude. More to the story than I can say.

Went to Menards today to buy an area rug and a bag of concrete mix. The first employee I came across, I asked where the concrete mix bags were. He told me to go to Building Supply desk and they would tell me. Started to walk that way and came across two employees in lumber and asked the same question. One of them actually walked a little ways and pointed to where a palette of concrete bags were. I thanked him and walked over to where he directed and found the bags. A bag weighed 60 pounds. I can’t lift that and no one was around to help. I said to myself “forget it. I will go someplace else for it”. Decided to see if there was someone in the flooring department to help me with the rug. It is one of the large ones like 8’ X 10’. Asked the first guy I saw and he said he’d be over in a few minutes. After a few minutes a couple of employees walked by and I grabbed one. What I got was heaven sent. His name is Taylor and what a nice young man and so helpful! Wish Menards had more employees like him! Told him about my trouble trying to find and get one bag of concrete mix. We went to that department and got it plus he was carrying my big rug too. Took me to the checkout and then carried everything out to my car. Great, great employee! Thank you, Taylor.

Sarah, one of the managers, is the rudest person I have ever come across in retail. I am disabled from my service overseas. After traipsing around the store asking where the sand was and being sent hither and tither by employees. I called the store phone and asked for a manager to help me find the sand. Her only suggestion was to go back again to the building materials desk and ask for ticket to buy it. I told her that I was disabled and asked if she had an employee that could get the ticket for me so I wouldn’t have to go back again. She told that wasn’t possible and that if I’m too lazy to do it then I must not really need it. (WTF?) I once again reminded her that this was an ADA request and she refused. It appears that she would rather be unhelpful and rude than helpful.

Had a very nice experience. Got everything we needed, and had some laughs with the nice employees helping us!

Just needed to verify a bolt thread and pick up some washers. They always have things in the same place and at competitive prices.

I got in there found the product and it was in stock and loaded it for me no problem! Save big money at menards!

Staff helped me find exactly what I was looking for, or at least made sure to get me to someone who knew!

They have just about everything you need. Prices aren't too bad. I like it when they have 11 per cent off everything in the store, (which they have quite often)

That grub control i had a raincheck on was a great price. Picked up other spring project materials and i saw a guy there i have not seen in years and caught up!

I've never seen a more efficient Customer Returns process! Of course it helps to have every receipt with the items.

Great store with everything you need for home improvement. I've had to return items before and had no issues and I've also had very nice help when trying to find items in this store. Great friendly help here!

We shop here often. They usually have good deals and several options to choose from. The seasonal department is pretty big and the lumber yard is huge.

Disappointed with the help. Several did not know where to find things, and had to look for items myself. Very unlike Menards.

The check out person acted like he was mad about even being there. He said hello & that was it. He didn't say thank you. Also the lady in front of us was handed her receipt which he dropped & didn't say excuse me or even attempt to pick it up for her. He was very rude to say the least. This is one reason I very seldom shop at Menards. Everyone always seems like they are doing the customer a favor for waiting on them. So, there you are.

I didn't go in but my brother in law did. He quickly found what he needed and back to our errands.

They are helpful and knowledgeable. They have everything for home improvement that you could need. One of my favorite stores

Dont try to special order replacement windows they have no clue what they are doing! Been replacing windows for a hundred years and if had placed to order they would have been a 1" to big, and then they argued with me telling me I was wrong! Dave
