Menards, Cedar Falls IA

Menards is a great place to shop. They don't have everything, but if you are in a pinch, they will have something to get you by. From groceries, to paint, to tools, to wood, to appliances and so much more. My wife and I shop there as often as we can.

Good store, good employees always helpful always put up with my obnoxiousness! I really like shopping here. N

Big store with everything under the sun, don't be afraid to ask where things are otherwise you're in for a walk

I wasn't sure which plexiglass to get, but every employee that saw me amidst my indecision offered to help me! One even showed me the deals that were in a separate section!

Everyone must wear a mask to enter which may be annoying but still everyone is safe from contracting covid 19

Always happy with a run to this menards store. Lots of great items and great prices. Employees are generally pleasant though not always experts in helping find items.

Good box store. Mulch was on sale $2.00 a bag as usual not well marked. Check out is fast. Disappointed they do not enforce the loading area parking time limit. Every time I go a lot of contractors think it is their personal long term parking.

My go to place for almost everything we use, building supplies, kitchen supplies, even wood pellets for my smoker

Good location. Lots of selection for your household needs. Friendly employees but at times seem like there little short staffed.

Be nice if staff allowed customer to go through the exit door before staff comes barreling in through the wrong door!

Just another home improvement store, nothing more/nothing less/nothing special except their power tools suck! Menards carries "mostly" off brand or their own branded power tools (with the exception of Bosch) all of which are subpar at best. For the quality TOP SHELF stuff go to Home Depot! When it comes to power tools it honestly doesn't pay to skimp and go cheap or off brand. A valuable lesson I've learned the hard way over the years

It's a great store. They have a lot of variety and seem to be carrying a lot more useful needs in and around the house.

At 7: 45 pm i counted 5 employees talking at service desk, 2 guys at plumbing area talking, 1 sweeping, 1 just walking around and not 1 asked if i needed help. I don't even know if i got what i needed. Continue talking and ill just go elsewhere. Register gal veey nice.

Outstanding selections of building materials and household goods. Friendly knowledgeable staff. Their checkout policy is the best. If more than two people are in the check out line they will open another check out lane.

Very friendly, knowledgeable staff are constantly stocking this mega big hardware and household goods store. Whether a DIY project, new construct or garden landscaping, big money to be saved here.

If I could rate this with zero stars I would. Cabinetry manager Joe is a joke, along with every other manager I've dealt with the last 3 months. Made 7 trips for 1 bathroom vanity that I paid for and was supposed to have in a week. 6 weeks later and six 100 mile trips later, I have my vanity. Now bringing back 1000 dollars worth of damaged cupboards i had ordered and was delivered. And i had to fight to get a refund for them! Will not ever buy a single thing here again.

Not impressed with the guy at the paint department. Wanted gallons got pints! Was rude, I was talking to another lady who worked there by the paint, about the smells u can put in the paint, the guy yelled at me saying I told u it would be awhile go finish ur shopping!

My son and I drove down (about an hour round-trip) to pick up some cabinets that we had special ordered about three weeks or so earlier from this Menards in Cedarfalls Iowa. Three of the six cabinets were damaged so they ordered three more which came in about two weeks after that. We asked if they could deliver them at no charge and were told no and they wouldn’t do anything to compensate for the inconvenience. We had to drive back down again (about an hour round-trip) to exchange the three damaged ones for the three new ones. This time before leaving we removed the three cabinets from the packaging with an associate’s help just to find that two of the three had some damage on them as well. Once again we were told there was nothing they would do for the inconvenience by a supposed manager. He also proceeded to tell us that we had purchased low end cabinets like it was normal to have damage on a new product. This is disgusting and poor business ethics. We Will not be going back to this store to make any major purchases as long is this mindset and attitude continues!

I go to menards at least once a week if not more, lately I just am not getting the good service I used to, maybe just burnt out from the holidays.
