Merrill Middle School, Des Moines IA

It’s a good school teachers are nice and kids are okay. We have had a lot of shooting and bomb threats being taken to the person who would do things about the situation but nothing was done but i wouldn’t worry cause we have a safe school just dumb kids trying to be trendy and make school shooting threats but if you hear one tell someone people!

Honestly, not the best school. The teachers and most of the administration staff is amazing and super helpful, but Ms. Khem isn't the best. I was put into a very tough situation last year due to another student, which required an investigation. Ms. Kehm lied to me and my mother about talking to the SRO, which was extremely unprofessional. I ended up not even being able to go to school the last month of the school year because I didn't feel safe with some of the kids in the school, and not a lot was being done about it. Shout out to Mrs. Fosche for being an outstanding counselor who actually listens to her students and makes them feel safe and at home.

Really great school! In 7th grade and go here and all teachers are super nice and helpful. The principal is retiring at the end of this year, and another person, Mrs. Panek, will be our new principal, I wish her good luck!

I went to Merrill last year and it was amazing! The teachers are so nice and so helpful. I loved all my teachers (Mrs. Freeman, Mr. King, Mrs. Spizzirri, Mr. Morgan, Mrs. Oconnor, Mrs. Greteman, Mrs. Majure, Mr. Moore, Mrs. Swanda, Mr. Hoeg, and last but not least Mrs. Sage) and they were all so helpful and great teachers! I wish I could see them again someday.

I am a new sixth grader at Merrill and so far I love it. We are only 3 days into the school year and it's amazing. The teachers are wonderful and the students are very easy to get along with. There are many roll models and great people there.

This is the best school i ever been to. All the kids are so nice and so are the teachers and its the only school that i ever been to that the classes are actually fun. I was a sixth grader there. It was the best four months of my life

I go to school there and i think it is one of the most friendly schools in the district. I Love Merrill
