Good food, fast service. Value for what you pay. Ordered up and could hear my order being cooked up in the kitchen. I ordered a tortas which was very filling.

Food is already pre made wife order a ground beef taco and the meat was burned way over cooked plus my tacos no taste on the meat

Tortas! Awesome bread with awesome flavors. Cash only establishment that needs a serious face-lift, but the food is worth the visit.

Delicious food, friendly staff + very clean + tidy restaurant. We ordered the Quesadilla Fajita + Chicken Flautas, which were both served with rice, beans + lettuce.

They're ain't to many places like Mi Lupita around these parts of Iowa. Food is good, prices are decent. There rice and beans could use a little salt but overall Texican gives it 3 stars. Also salsa isn't spicy

You must have a big appetite inorder to finish the whole Meal. I asked for a tostada on the side thinking it would be a Regular size Torta

I’m always over the moon with any food I get from this place. The establishment is always clean, the people who work there are always friendly, and the prices make my wallet as happy as the food makes my stomach. I’m just a white girl living in Midwest Iowa so I may not be the best judge so definitely give it a try and judge for yourself!

The food was good. But for 8 to 10 a meal for take out with no sides. If eat in was possible. But no licenses for cerveza?

Not sure when, but I forgot about the deliciousness of tequila and am now acquainted with mezcal. The cocktails at Calavera are just spectacular - artistic, beautiful presentation and a taste sensation. The bartenders work hard to bring you these masterpieces so be patient. If you get one with a huge chunk of ice, know that it was created out of a huge block with about 5 tools by the staff. I can not rave enough about the creations - on a 5 point scale, they rate a 7. The seasonal Sandia, spicy watermelon cocktail, is perfection.

Great restaurant! Foot was delicious! We had three different dishes, the enchiladas, the Benedict, the chilaqueses (sp?) each was flavorful and well pres! Our server did not unite get '"the bottomless mimosas " as we had to get his attention to get a refill! Dessert, churros, yummy!

Always fresh and well made food, but I’m always missing the hot sauce whenever I ask for it
