Mickey's Irish Pub Waukee reviews
17 Food was juicy & delicious!
Service was spot on! Mickey's Irish pub used to be one of my favorite places for karaoke. They've got a stage & a great sound system!
We want karaoke back,) ~
Great food, great beer (Guinness is served right) and drink specials. Great atmosphere. Karaoke on Friday night is great too.
Nice Irish Pub to get great food and cold drinks. Great atmosphere to have a drink or two! I wish I lived closer to visit more often.
Service? Sorry, unfortunately won't ever find that here! I've been in Mickey's for bands that I freely promote & support on weekends, off & on for the past 15 years. There is never more than 1 bartender, & I have never in 15 years had a server! Hell, when I was there for "TDS PROJECT", the band that played there last Saturday night, that was the first, & only time I ever saw a server there! I went to the bar, upon entering, as usual, the one & only bartender, literally standing directly in front of me, was like I was invisible & she looked right through me. I became tired of waiting for acknowledgement, & joined my friends at the table to enjoy the band. It was literally 20 minutes after sitting at my friends table, a server came to ask my friends if they'd like another drink. She too acted as I didn't exist in front of her. I had to all but yell at her to get a drink! She returned one more time and we never saw another server the remainder of the last 2 hours the band played. Understandable, why my two friends & I, & 1 other table were the only ones in the bar other than the band! The stage is also extremely small, with no dance floor. I've not tried the food, as that would require "SERVICE"! I honestly don't understand how these owners have managed to remain open!
Good spot to watch football. Food was solid. No complaints about the service. High top table chairs could use an update though
We come here at least 2-3 times a week and for good reason! Great food, fun atmosphere, and even better people. Only great things to say about the staff and owners!
Best nachos in Waukee! We had the best service. Our waitress gave us great recommendations and we can’t wait to go back. Friendly, attentive service and quality food! I encourage you all to check it out!
I have always liked this place. Staff is hard working and always on the move with a smile on their face. Clearly they enjoy people and their job.
It's a very friendly atmosphere I sat outside the drinks were really good the music was off the chain just loved it.
Paul Little’s music was a great Saturday night, came to see him at Mickeys and will definitely be back, well done!
Breakfast much better than dinner. I had the Irish breakfast, and after the burger. Bfast was good, burger very dry, bun not very fresh.
Mickey's Waukee is a great place for dinner, drinks, hanging with family or hanging with friends! Always a friendly staff and the food is great! No better place in Waukee! Amy and Andy are the best owners around!
Great neighborhood bar! We didn't have anything to eat. Just stopped in for a beer. The bartender was friendly and helpful.
Our first drinks were a good pour our second were considerably less but all in all our favorite bar of the evening. It was homie and comfortable with a lounge area and a pool table as well as live music as 830pm though we didn't stay for it.
Ranking 5 stars because of the burger I had, nothing else. One of the best I've had in a while. Service was slow, but seems to be normal at most restaurants now. Tasty food.
Hot food and cold drinks, what more could you ask for? ! Live music every Saturday and Wednesday. Nice little gem hidden in Waukee, perfect for a night out!
I have been visiting Mickeys for the last 8 years, since I originally moved to Waukee. The staff is awesome, the atmosphere is very inviting, and there are tons of ways to stay entertained.
I highly recommend stopping in, whether You are having drinks with friends, dinner with family, or meeting for business reasons. Its a Waukee staple!
If you’re a Waukee resident, it should be added to your list of frequent stops. Year after year they give back to the community and are extremely involved with lifting up other businesses around them. Support a business that supports you back!
