I wanted a milkshake and they made it perfectly. They will always try to accommodate any requests if possible or suggest alternatives.

Top notch at great prices, ordered over easy and rare with crispy browns and that’s what I got!

Delicious Breakfast Burrito with hash browns. My daughter had a ham & cheese omlet that came with hash browns and a large pancake. Price was great for all that food

Coffee was diluted to the point of being watery. Eggs Benedict were barely cooked and lukewarm. Pancakes were rubbery and seemed microwaved. Service was incredibly slow.

Ugh. Will definitely not return.

Today's breakfast was really good and our waitress was nice and consistent. We had lunch yesterday with the country fried steak, the steak was burnt and bland and the rest not that great. The waitress wasn't as friendly but We will return because bad days happen.

Very rude host. When we walked in we told the host we had 5 adults and a baby and he rudely replied “so 6? ” Then goes “can I get a name? ” In a very annoyed tone. Our server was great and the food was okay, a little salty. I ordered a veggie skillet and it had pieces of ham in it. As we went to pay, we had a $10 gift card and the host audibly scoffed and said he’ll have to do a whole ‘nother ticket and we’ll have to just use our gift card another time. He had no patience or customer service skills. We will not be coming back.

Road trips of 12+ hours can be grueling. When sharing time and food with the right people, the trip becomes a pleasure. Thanks staff at Midtown family restaurant for being an oasis during our trip to Missouri.

1st time there for us. Nice family restaurant. Food was wonderful and hot. Fast service and pleasant atmosphere. Very clean.

Ate hear before the IA football game Saturday. EXCELLENT food and service. Would definitely recommend! If in the area again, we will go back!

The biscuits n gravy was quite good! Nice place! I did wait longer than I thought I should have for the food to come out of the kitchen. It was busy on this football Saturday.

Very dry very bland perfect food for elderly people or people that want a very basic flavor of food and not too much seasoning

Great service and wonderful food. Janet and her team are always eager and ready to serve all that come into their establishment.

We went there because of the ratings, 4.9. Somewhat disappointed with service, being treated as a child, not poking anyone with the toothpicks and then the food options. Old people food.

The steak was good as was the roast of the meal. The best part of the meal was the waitress and how friendly she was, I had apple pie, not a fan. Not a place I would return or recommend.

This was a pretty good place to eat. With me being from the south some of their menu items are not what I'm accustomed to but overall the experience was okay
