Midwest Central Railroad reviews
11Very fun ride, we went to the North Pole Express. Despite the temperatures in the negatives, it was super worth it. My 2 year old son loved the smoke filled bubbles when you get to the north pole. Very cool experience! They ask for 15 minute early arrival, I highly recommend you take blankets with you, it can be very cold while waiting.
A wonderful place to visit for any of their events, and a great philanthropic investment for anyone looking to donate.
Polar express was fun. Steam train ride to the north pole with crafts? pictures and cocoa and cookie. Its a quick 2 hours.
We went on the polar Express. These guys do a bang up job! Everything was well thought out and the kids loved it. It's obvious a lot of work and effort goes into this to ensure everyone has a joyous time.
Went for the haunted train ride. It was fun but nothing haunted. Did go in the haunted house the line was way to long.
Friendly folks were working on the trains. They gave me a fascinating look inside the shop, And I was able to check out their test run of a beautiful steam engine.
So i usually come here at the Old Threshers Reunion and always have a blast! I hope that we can get the No 2 back so it can be with its sister loco the 6
We went for the Polar Express and it was one of the best experiences I've had with any place. I proposed to my now fiancee with the help of the staff, but especially Lauren who helped me from the very start and I couldn't be more appreciative. Santa was. Very very kind amd sweet guy who came up to us and congratulated us afterwards. The North Pole set up that they had was amazing, immediately snow in the air as we stepped off the train, it made for a magical and perfect experience for us and our son. The souvenir shop had very reasonable prices and the group pictures were wonderful. I can't say enough good things about this place, will be making this a yearly tradition.
What A Wonderful Experience! We got off the Train In A Winter Wonderland, The North Pole right here in Iowa! Worth The Drive!
This is a wonderful place to spend some time learning about the History of the Railroad. They have an Awesome Steamshow, Halloween festivities, Christmas Polar Express Train. Something for all ages. The staff, volunteers are very knowledgeable, they love answering questions, you couldn't ask for a better place to spend the day.
