My son, that is 3, does absolutely great with the providers at Midwest Dental. They explained everything to him and that really helped his experience at the dentist. The workers have even gone along with his imagination like the chair is a fishing boat with his imagination that has helped him. Imagination is everywhere even in the dentist office =). Which to me is a form of kindness to make a patient feel comfortable.

Everyone is very nice. They explained what need to be done and what kind of work was going to take place. Even asked my opinion. Great Dental office!

Midwest Dental in Atlantic has a friendly atmosphere. Beginning with the receptionist who was very kind and helped me save money with the essential smile plan. Laura is very personable, kind, and knowledgeable. Shawn is awesome at what he does, makes the experience as painless as possible and attentive to patients needs! I would highly recommend booking your next dental appointment with these people at this facility!

Dr. Peterson is so very kind, caring and gentle. You couldn't find a better dentist in the area.

I have seen Dr. Peterson for many years now and I always enjoy my appointment. He takes pride in his work and wants you to have a pleasant experience. I love catching up with him and Heidi. Dentist excellent, dental hygienist wonderful…. Billing department LACKING!
Received bill from over two years ago and was told “It will be up to you to contact insurance, we only do that as a courtesy. ” Didn’t try to help just wanted to prove where they needed more money on a closed bill. Typical kindness around Atlantic businesses, she assured me I could make payments on their mistake in filing though. Thanks always appreciate the extra effort.

I had my first appointment with Dr. Petersen and staff and could not be happier. Because of the extensive x-rays (which were no more difficult than any I have had previously) and thorough checking of my gums, Dr. Petersen was able to diagnose and present a solution to a problem I have had for over a year. My previous dentist worked on this issue three times and could not find an answer.

All of the staff were friendly, courteous and willing to rise above average in their treatment of me. I recommend this office completely.

I did read the previous bad review and, seriously, cannot imagine these same people as being rude and below par in their duties.

Please give this office a try and I think you will be as pleased as I am.

My family and I have been going to Dr. Petersen for as long as I can remember, we have always been well taken care of! From emergency visits to routine check ups we’ve experienced them all and always been satisfied!

So many things wrong with this experience. Didn't get xrays which in return had an issue 6 weeks later that could've been avoided had there been an xray. The dental assistant was short tempered and rude to us. And told us all we weren't flossing or brushing correctly. I've never been told that in my whole life. Unfortunately it just was a very bad experience that serious issues were overlooked.

My first appointment with Dr Gavino went very well. He was engaging, knowledgeable, and skilled. He identified some concerns in his examination and we worked together to develop a care plan. I feel I made the right choice in choosing Dr Gavino as my dentist.

Such a great staff. Super good with kids, took 3 year old for first teeth cleaning fearing the worst.but Denise was outstanding! Had no trouble getting my lil trouble maker to allow her to clean teeth. Such patience she had! Showed him everything, let him touch and feel it, explained things to him so he could understand! Best dentist office there is!
