Mike's Pizza & Steakhouse, Ottumwa IA

The locals suggested this place to me. It's close to, if not, the best pizza I've ever eaten. Mike got it right. The crust was so perfect. I was very impressed. The Greek salad was spot on too. If I could give 6 stars, I would. I met Mike, he had an Italian accent. And I had such a good experience, I bought a Mike's Pizza T-shirt from him, so I could remember it.

The food was marginal at best. My salmon was dry and overcooked, My son’s Mac and cheese was straight from a box. Our waitress brought us two identical checks as she tried to get us to pay five times- while we were obviously still eating! The atmosphere was pretty decent, but the food and service need a lot of work.

The waitress, Rachel, was very friendly and double checked that we got the correct order and very timely!

Great place for Pizza. The staff is so friendly. It was busy, but the food still came out quick, and the wait staff visited with us and never made us feel rushed.

I had the fried tenderloin. Was thin & dried out. Was asked what I wanted on it, came out plain & had to ask for condiments.
HyVee's tenderloins 1,000% better, thicker, juicier! (And CHEAPER!)
I did like the fries & lemonade, but lemonade was priced higher than should have been. Wife had a cheeseburger. It was thin & dry.
My wife & I both remember when Fiesta Cantina was in this building & had 1,000% better food!
Over-priced, & not impressed at all. Won't be back.

Calzone Momma Mia! Wow! Delicious with a kick. The food here is very good. The pricing is affordable and the service was exceptional. I will definitely put this on my list of places to eat, when I’m in town. Thank you for the great service and great food.

Very poor service literally waited over 45 minutes for order, I will never visit that place again in future and worst service I have ever seen.

Had sangerias - so delicious! Tenderloin and fries were absolutely perfect. Table had steak sandwiches and bacon cheeseburger, all was excellent. Waitress was very busy but handled the crowd like an expert. Thanks for making my first trip to Mike's a delight. Should've taken better pictures. Highly recommend.

WOW THIS PLACE IS TRUELIY AWESOME EVERYONE I WENT THERE AROUND 3 PM AN THE SERVICE WAS AWESOME AN KIND AN RELAXED AN YHE BEACON CHEESE BURGER WOW I MEAN WOW LOL I HAD A DOUBLE AN MAN ILL TELL YA IM FROM OUT EAST AN THIS PLACE BROUGHT HOME BACK TO MY MOUTH THAT BURGER WAS AN STILL IS THE ONE AN ONLY BEST BURGER IVE HAD HERE IN IOWA AN MY HATS OFF THE THE CHEF IVE MEET HER AN SHE IS A HELL OF A COOK AN ALL THE OTHERS THAT WORK THERE KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK AN YHE BURGERS COMIN!

Mike’s Pizza is absolutely delicious. It’s our “go to” place for pizza. Best pizza we’ve ever had!

YUMMY. Food is soo good! The pizza is delicious! We drive an hour for it. Our waiter was great also. You want to come early on a Sat or you will definitely ne waiting in line for a table. The Greek pizza is worth trying.

Never been there before, dinner with family, try to eat there again, had the alfredo pasta, my favorite. Good prices, your in town check them out.

They have really good pizza. Really enjoyed the Mike's special pizza. The mama mia is also very good but was a tad bit too spicy for me. Would get some pizza from here again!

Got some killer good pizza here. Definitely recommend it. The 10 inch is about right for one person if your good and hungry.
