Mister Car Wash, Urbandale IA

Tried a wash#2 today, it was okay. It's a brushed wash, pull the car through while in neutral. Does have a tire clean and shine option.

Its quick and easy, and the membership is reasonable, and allows me to wash my car as often as I want for one monthly price.

Need longer hours especially in Spring and summer. Week days it’s hard to get there after work before MCW closes. Need tip jar at both ends of garage exit doors cuz there’s no time to stop, exit car, and run to door #1 to leave tip

I purchased stickers for both my vehicle and my wife’s vehicle, and use the wash maybe three times each week. Mister Carwash is a good value, and keeping our vehicles dirt, and especially salt, free will extend life of the vehicle, and decrease maintenance expenses. I have been impressed with the improvements to BOTH facilities on Merle Hay Road.

Great service and reasonable price! I do wish you would do the underbody wash for the basic package, at least in the winter!

The free vacuums don't really work. Hopefully they'll be able to correct this because I love the location!

Great car wash. I actually ended up getting the Platinum membership. The manager was super resourceful and made me feel welcomed at the wash. I would recommend. They have vacuums onsite so you can vacuum then wash.

Nice Car Wash. The multiple vacuum stations before you go in is really nice to use. Both sides of the car have access to a vacuum piece as well. S you can make your car nice in clean inside and out. They have 2 pay stations so you know when its your turn to go in and no one cuts you off. Workers are there to help out at every place which is really nice if you cant reach the kiosk. The wash itself is pretty good. Though I wish the blow dry worked longer and a bit stronger.

This car wash does a decent job, falls short on the rear of a vehicle at least on a full-sized SUV and full-sized pick up. Your results may vary based on your vehicle. As compared to a touch free carwash this works significantly better. The dryers are some of the better around. Price is reasonable for the job it does. Free vacuums prior to your wash are always nice. I have been here many time and will go back.

I have an unlimited membership here, so I have substantial experience with these guys. Unfortunately no other car wash has a deal like this, so i'm relegated to their complete lack of ambition and piss poor customer service. I wish that i could give them 0 stars.

They do a great job when they're on their game. They have too many days when they're not on their game though. I would go elsewhere, but Des Moines has no other options for a decent car wash with a monthly plan.

This is a nice car wash, but I really can't stand car washes that touch your vehicle. It gets you through in a hurry. I did have a membership for six months or so and it was a little rougher on my vehicle than I liked. The newer Hickman location is a lot nicer and not so rough.

If I could give this place zero stars I would I had a horrible experience the general manager came out and started arguing with me about me asking if they wipe down the seats. They set me up with platinum monthly plan and at the end they don’t do none of it what they say. Horrible place don’t go there I’m telling you people you will get disappointed

Paid $35 for platinum and gave a $20 tip to find out they didn’t really vacuum the back. Dog fur everywhere.

Navigate urself into the wash line if u wish 2 avoiiid damage 2 ur wheels (and please don't blame it on customer/user error as it is clear what's truly going on). As well (like you would expect), wash does leave behind paint damage over time.i would give 2 stars for the simple fact that they have free vacuum cleaners and provide convience for u within snow season (s), but nah.be back l8r when Eye wanna waste my time writing again.have a good day

Great place and a good deal. The new free vacuums aren't as good as the old in regards to the suction power. But they are included. That means something.

If i could give them 0 stars i would.ridiculous, get a car wash and still have to step outside and dry it yourself as if you would hand wash it they dont even whip it good enough, i was complaining to the employees and they were acting stupid about it like they didnt even hear what i said.

The Mister Car Wash in my hometown of Cedar Rapids is a full service detail center. This is "just" a fancy drive through. It is what it is. But I guess I was expecting different.

A sign on the door says "we will do our best to remove ice as time allows" with a person with a power washer wand. This guy squirted my car for all of 10 seconds, never moving his feet. This is why I'm leaving a below average review.

I haven't necessarily checked out all of the car washes locally, but Mister does well. I miss the big touchless wash from NY @ Delta Sonic, but Mister does well enough for me to purchase their upper level unlimited service. Decent location. No hand drying @ the end, but has good quality and many self service vacuums
