Good food, good service, good prices. Much much better than the last time I was there 3 years ago. Very timely even during the lunch rush.

A trip back to my hometown is never complete without a meal at my favorite restaurant on the planet. (It used to be an every Thursday night thing growing up, ever since the day they opened). The staff is so incredibly nice and the food is like nothing I can find in bigger cities. I'd give them 10 stars if I could.:)

Good food but hit and miss with the service. There's been one blonde lady there that's been real rude both times I've eaten here

The waiter forgot part of our meal never came back to table until we were ready to leave we asked for refills on our dri ks and he wanted to charge us for 2more drinks. It was a not so good visit but the food we did receive was good.

Awful! Husband’s dinner came out 10 minutes after everyone else’s. As the plate was being placed in front of him food spilled all over him and the floor as the waitress dropped the plate and walked away. Talked with the manager after and he says, sorry about that, and walked away. Definitely won’t be coming back!

Not consistent. Food you order is different every time. There is a huge language barrier which is fine but makes it troubling to order or ask questions. Waitress messed up our food and made us pay full price for it. Definitely has gone down hill. Will most likely not be coming back.

Love the customer welcome. It has a great atmosphere. Very outgoing staff. Would recommend it to anyone.

I like the place and I like the food. The waitress I had was nice but there was a huge language barrior and when I got my food it wasn't at all what I had ordered lol. I ate it and it was good. I have eaten there before with no problem.

Great real Mexican food! Prices in line with the large number of others in the Lakes area. In my top 2!

Food was okay service was kind of poor we needed a refill within 2 minutes and never got it and waiters and waitresses cursing in their in a different languageand I fully understood everything that they said about most of the customers in the room

Coming from Texas for work in Spencer, Iowa. I enjoyed the service and food, had a southern hospitality. Also the presentation outside was pushing me away, but when I stepped inside, well lets just say all I needed was my sombrero and corona.

If you’re looking for good authentic Mexican food this is not your place. Not only are the portions very small but it’s also not as flavored. The staff were kind but the food was not so great.

We had an excellent waitress who was very friendly and funny and talked to us and checked on us. It was a very great experience. The food was very good also. Prices are very reasonable too. I would recommend this restaurant to others.

My family has eaten there since it first opened. Celebrate family events there.graduations, weddings, birthdays. It's all my children and grand children favorite place to eat.

Has changed and not for the better! Cheese dip is bland! My favorite dish was the pollo loco but now there’s no flavor and rice is totally different and not my favorite. There used to be more carrots and other veggies mixed in the rice. Very disappointed as I grew up eating here all the time!

Taco shells and tortilla chips were stale. Refried beans and the rice were cold. Not a good dining experience

The chips and salsa are better than most places like this.

It was a busy evening and the food quality was poor. Coconut shrimp was way overcooked and other plates of food were barely warm. Service was awful and we were ignored - order taken, food plopped down on the table and bill delivered - that's it. This place is definitely not what it used to be.

Very good food. Fast service. Reasonably priced. The staff is always friendly and everything that I have ordered has been excellent. My favorite is the molcajete which has meats, rice, and cheese sauce all together and is served with tortillas on the side. They serve soda, margaritas, and also beer.
