Ms. Brooke's Learning Garden Preschool & Daycare (In-home), Urbandale IA

My daughter went to Ms. Brooke’s preschool/daycare when she lived in Marion. Very substantial learning environment rich in alphabet, numbers, colors, books, puzzles, etc.along with creativity in crafts and cutting and drawing. Very social environment with lots of play areas both inside and out. Healthy and fulfilling meals and snacks. Creates a warm, caring and safe environment that your child looks forward to going to everyday to learn and see their frIends. Would highly recommend her preschool/daycare! 5*

I wish I could give 0 stars. We thought that her daycare was a great fit until it was time to cut out our sons morning nap. Our pediatrician said he was developmentally ready as he was 15 months old. Ms. Brooke flat out refused. Our pediatrician also said that one nap a day would help him sleep better at night as he was getting too much sleep during the day, essentially making himself overtired. She would not do it no matter how many times we insisted. She told us that it was our fault our son kept getting diaper rashes (he has a sensitive tummy, therefore sensitive bowel movements). Our son gets constipated easy and instead of listening to our requests and what our doctor recommended, she told us it was our fault he was constipated and that it's nothing that she was doing, even though it only happened after he got home from daycare and had time to digest the food he had eaten. Overall, a terrible experience that was met with belittling and constant stress and arguments over the wellbeing of our children. I do not recommend her at all

There is nothing negative to say about Ms. Brooke but only a TON of great things! She treats all the kiddos like they are her own. I've never felt more comfortable leaving my daughter with anyone else! She loves going and gets excited when we walk in. The structured care is exactly what my little one needed. We are always greeted with warm smiles and Ms. Brooke genuinely cares about each kid and their families. AMAZING care and so thankful that we found Ms Brooke!

We thought finding this daycare was a dream come true, but unfortunately it wasn’t. My son went here for 2 weeks and within those 2 weeks, she thought there was always something “wrong” with him. He just had an appointment on Friday by his pediatrician, who has a medical degree, and he was checked out completely fine. No matter what I said, I was sent online articles trying to tell me that my doctor was wrong because online told her so. After repeating multiple times that I want to continue doing what his pediatrician recommended, and being argued and criticized, we made the decision to pull my son immediately as we did not feel he was safe here anymore. She has concerns about his sleep schedule and although I repeated countless times that his doctor said it is normal, she felt the need to believe online articles. We followed up with his doctor who said she believes his daycare provider just did not want to deal with a 4 month old and is treating him like a nuisance. Extremely disappointed with not only how we as his parents were disrespected, but the unprofessionalism of it all.

**In response to her reply** We put a 31 day notice in, and then after the weekend pulled him immediately instead. Why? Because I was getting argued with from 10-11 at night about what our doctor recommended for my son and felt he was no longer safe there. If we left on “good terms” then why were we blocked on Facebook right after we picked up his things? The response to my review was to save face. It is very clear we did not end on good terms.

Brookelynne is a wonderful lady, who truly cares about each child that comes into her daycare. I would highly recommend her!

I was apart of this daycare when I was younger and it was amazing. I had so much fun, it it such a warm and loving environment to be in.

Highly recommend! Our daughter loved going to Ms Brooke’s and thrived in her preschool setting. Ms Brooke will love your child only second to you!
