Google really needs to add an option for ZERO stars! Absolute worst experience buying and selling our houses with this Absolute JOKE of a real estate company! Patrick Doheny was the laziest, most dishonest realtor I have ever seen. Gave the most vague answers to questions, if he even answered our questions without just saying "we are not allowed to make any comments or answer questions that could possibly sway your decision in buying/ not buying the property" over and over throughout the entire process no matter how many new properties we looked at, same response to all our questions. He made absolutely no effort whatsoever to sell our old property.
Was absolutely no help at all during the negotiations on the new property, wouldnt even offer suggestions of things to ask for or offer up things other ppl have done in the past, nothing. We were listed on the market for over 11 months!? In Des Moines Beaverdale neighborhood!? Do NOT fall for their gimmicks! If your property isn't enough commission for them, you will get subpar effort! They only care about the rich ppl of IA and their 500k properties or higher!

Had excellent working relationship with Next Gen realty & Patrick in particular. He was responsive, professional & easy to deal with.

The sale process was remarkably smooth & quick. And Mr Doheny fulfilled all his commitments - well pleased with the experience.

We used Brook as a dual agent when we bought our new home. She was honest upfront with negotiations and played fair but her communication was poor and she made us wait an hour at closing to receive the keys to our new home.

Rob Doheny was a huge help in getting my townhouse sold. He advised on the price and we sold at full ask within 24 hours. Highly recommend.

Rob is great, we had a tight timeline 45 day close or we would have to get a bridge loan which would have cost us thousands. Not only did we get multiple offers in the first week we actually got what we were asking for our house which exceeded our expectations. He was there guiding us through the closing process which made it easy. We haven’t moved in 22 years, he did the same thing with our other house, saving us money on both, I won’t use anyone else to sell my house.

Brook Doheny was amazing to work with! She fights hard for her clients and is so knowledgeable. When buying/selling you need someone who you can trust, Brook was always in our corner. We couldn’t have done it without her!

**edit based on response: I'm a first-time homebuyer with little experience or knowledge in the real estate world, and this review is based on that background. Thanks for proving my second point, though.

Brook is great in person. She's personable and intense in a way that makes it seem like she gets stuff done. She was also late or didn't show up at all to every meeting we had planned, was hard to get in touch with, and lacked follow-through on things. I was a first-time homebuyer and was looking for more guidance than I received in any of the process.

I'm hesitant to even leave a review given the response other reviews have received, but hopefully this helps someone else. Not the realtor you need as a first-time homebuyer.

Seriously couldn't have had a better experience selling our home with Brooke Doheny! She is beyond knowledgeable, and goes above and beyond throughout the selling & buying process. She is very responsive to messages, and made a know to be stressful process, stress free! I highly recommend using Brooke for all of your home buying/selling needs! You won't be disappointed.

Rob Doheny of Next Generation Realty got my home on the market and sold in less than 2 months. The pictures he took and placed on the website showed off my home at its best. Rob took care of all the paperwork and thoroughly explained any questions I had regarding taxes, deeds and what would happen regarding the sale.

Great communication! Sale was quick and easy! Brook was amazing to work with! She was prompt and to the point!
