Nikki Nails, Ames IA

I like Nikki nails because they have great nail designs. The people ask you questions on what you want are very understanding and super kind. It is a little bit overpriced but for the work they do what I can understand it. I recommend coming

Went to Nikki’s nails before my sons wedding. They did a fabulous job and lasted through all the decoration setup. Was so awesome! They took the time to make sure my pedicure and manicure was perfect for the day, but they do that every time I go. They take great care of every customer this way.

$56 for a pedicure was not bad at all. I asked a bunch of people in the area. What do they think about Nikki Nails because I am new to the City of Ames and they said it was expensive. I looked at my toes and said it was worth it. The place looks great and they did an amazing job on my toes so looks like I’ll be going back. Great job guys.

I understand I was a walk in and not an appointment. But the reception I got asking if they had an opening made me feel like I was inconveniencing them. If you don’t have openings, then you shouldn’t advertise walk ins welcome.

When it came to my nails, the tech was very aggressive on my nails and nail beds. The shaping for one of my nails is off center and doesn’t look good. And one of my nails is starting to curl inward. I do not recommend going here.

Only person I'll let do my nails at this point. I'm very picky but she knows what I want and is extremely professional and friendly.

Bad experience. I have just done my acrylic nails 2 days and they said it wont come off but it’s already broken without doing anything

I went here with my friend almost a week ago. The person that did my nails didn't even ask what shape I wanted them and the polish is already chipping. Charged more for the service than I was expecting as well, and I'm not sure why. There are definitely better nail salons in Ames. They are didn't look like they properly sanitized equipment between customers and were reusing lots of things they shouldn't.

My daughter and I went here for the first time and my daughter had a horrible experience. My daughter had a very painful experience with the drill they used on her nails. The nail tech was going on her skin rather than her nails. It seemed like the nail tech was not paying attention with painting her nails correctly either. The sides of her nails are missing nail polish. Overall the experience was very rushed and painful.
