Noah's Ark Restaurant reviews
15Some of the Best sauce in Des Moines. El dente pasta perfectly cooked. Killer pizza. Prefer the Captain’s Room if possible.
Chocolate martini is awesome! The chicken in the chicken parm was Really dry. Other food ordered before has always been delicious. The house salad dressing should be bottled. Loved the Maryland crab cakes, their spaghetti sauce, and Italian sausage sandwich. Still one of my favorite places for "date night"
The best Italian restaurant in the area! Everything was fresh and delicious! We ordered a pizza and fettuccine with their homemade oil sauce and it was the best tasting fettuccine dish we have ever had! The house salad with the creamy Italian dressing and homemade fresh bread is a must!
We have been here before but it has been a long while. Kind of forgot about this place.
It is nice they have their own parking and getting into the restaurant is rather easy considering the area.
The atmosphere was excellent and the waitress was awesome.
We ordered the Foccaia Bread for an appetizer. (If there is only two in your party think twice about this. It was delicious but a lot of bed.) I ordered the Roasted Sirloin on a bed of noodles with Gravy and my wife had the Potato Gnocci with meat sauce. Both meals were excellent and plentiful.
I will say the dessert stole the show. My wife had the Spumoni ice cream which she enjoyed but the 'Piece De Resistance' was the Salted Carmel Vanilla Crunch Cake. (OMG!) Order this first!
Unfortunately, I did not get a picture of the desserts but I will when I go back, because I am going back!
Restaurant was dark, not inviting. Bench we were sat at was filthy. Ordered fettuccine with chicken. I got three slices of chicken for $4. My husband got a few bits. We had to send it back and ask for more chicken for our money. How obvious. Fettuccine was delicious as was dessert. Hard to get out server. I had to interrupt someone else. Not bad - not great. I wouldn't return - not the service, care and atmosphere I expect for the price.
The food was great, but our server Bella is what put this place over the top for us. She was so incredibly polite and thoughtful and truly made it a wonderful experience for our family. She deserves a raise!
Great service and good food. We got seated immediately and didn't have to wait too long for our food. Service was outstanding
I love this place, always have. When me and my children moved back to DSM, it was the first place I wanted to eat after unpacking. The only thing that had changed in a 10 yr.gap was the lobster tank is now just a fish tank. The only drawback is that some career servers here like to act that if you're a customer, then you've never worked in the service industry.
No wonder they stamp the Pizza King on the box.no doubt in my mind and taste buds it's the best in town, and always has been. I love the place. Also the greatest salad dressing ever
Food was amazing, the waiter hit on my husband and boyfriend.but not me also loves maybe clean a ceiling. Just saying
Had a reservation, waited 30 minutes to be seated while looking at 3 empty tables. Got water and menus, waited 15+ minutes for ANYONE to take our order. What is happening here? Really want to continue to love this place but really?
One of the oldest restaurants in Des Moines! 'Great everything if you like authentic Italian.
First time in. Stellar service and a stellar meal. I forget our server's name but it's clear he's a Profesional and I respect the heck out of that. Thank you so much for a great experience.
Food great-nice salad before meal, and rolls! Owner came to table and spoke to us about restaurant history.
I've been going here since I was a kid. My grandma used to tell stories of all the parties and fancy dinners she used to have here. The pasta is all good, pizza is amazing. I do wish there were a few other options besides just fried stuff. I'm excited to try the broiled chicken. And you can't beat the salad with their house creamy Italian dressing.
