I have been going to Chariton Vision Center for 20 years. Dr. Heaverlo is very thorough and diligent in treating my vision needs. I am thankful that we have this business in Chariton.

My experience at Ottumwa Eye Care was excellent. The service was great and the assistants did a fine job. Dr. Jessica McCullen was extremely professional and thorough and I would highly recommend Ottumwa Eye Care.

Unprofessional made me sit there for 30 mins just to tell me all my kids can’t come to the back when they could’ve just said that when I first walked in

Just went there today because I had posion ivy all over my face one of my eyes swollen shut and I paid $200 and they didn't do anything at all I want get my money back

I asked them to tighten my glasses because they wont stay up on my face. They say they arent under warranty so if we break them we arent responsible.who would think they would break your glasses.not me anyway. Mind you they are coach frames.so they were over $500 for the glasses. Can u believe they broke my glasses! I'm so upset and of course they dont cover any part of the bill to fix or replace.terrible! I wont be going back there!

We recently ordered a pair of glasses that our daughter didn't end up liking at all.

The frames just seemed bigger on her face than we remembered.

They graciously reordered the lenses in her old frames that she liked better.

We were very happy they worked with her until she had something she was comfortable with.

Took my Grammy to have her eyes checked and get glasses. Everyone was great! Especially the Dr. And her assistant Ashley and the gal that helped us out to our car when we were done.

Dr Kyler is honest and friendly. He explained everything to me in friendly manor. The assistant was friendly knowable and very honest in explaining everything clearly. She was fabulous!

Chariton Vision was very friendly efficient and made sure I comfortable for the entire appointment as well as my son as we went along for our exam to contacts to picking out glasses. Wonderful staff & Doctor they took the time & cared about us being comfy with the contacts and the brand needed. I recommend them for sure the year supply of contacts exam glasses and all was very reasonable priced and great discount. Thanks for all you do ladies and Doctor.

Due to a change in insurance, we were left searching for a non-corporate company to welcome our family to theirs. Even though we are over an hour away from their Osceola office, they sent text reminders, offer Saturday appointments (which is best for us since my husband drives a semi during the week), explained their procedures, costs, and assisted in choosing frames. The girls and doctor was respectful, sanitary, and courteous to our needs. The communication over the phone due to questions on insurance, costs, and arrival of glasses/contacts have been superb. I want to thank you for opening your office to a new family searching for a comfortable home atmosphere.

They were great with my kids! Very friendly! We were in and out, no waiting which is a life savor with young kids!

From the reminder note through the visit I was impressed with the gentle efficiency and attention to thorough explanations of each area of the exam. All the staff were kind and helpful.

I just love these incredible people. They really make sure that you are comfortable and informed about all aspects of the process from check in to the eye exam.

We lived in Ottumwa for nearly 2 years and then had to leave due to employment relocation now my husband and I drive 2+ hours, one way for the eye exams.

They were great. I took a pair glasses in to get the lens put back in and they did it straight away would not accept any money for it.

These people were extremely rude and short tempered. One lady soon as she answered the phone wanted to act like I was an idiot and talked down to me.

My husband went to the Chariton Vision Center for his annual exam. He was attended to by a very caring, courteous and professional staff who took time to complete a thorough exam and assist him in choosing replacement eyewear.
