Palmer's Deli & Market, Urbandale IA

I love eating deli food, and this is a deli paradise. They have weird combinations for the curious. I got the turkey club with a side of potato salad. Loved it.

First time ordering online and picking up. This was a little confusing as there are no messaging telling you where to go. We figured it out. Don't stand in the long line and go straight to check out.

Love this place.

Tasty sandwiches made to order in inventive combinations for around $10 each (Aug ‘23). Several soups and tossed salads, a whole case of deli sides (potato salad, etc.), and a half-dozen homemade sweets. But if you want a grilled cheese or a PB&J, they can make it. Bustling but light and airy dining area, plus a few outside tables. You won’t mistake Palmer’s for a classic deli like Katz’s or Manny’s or Langer’s, but it beats Jason’s and other sandwich/deli chains hands down.

I wish there was a Palmers deli in Minnesota. Great food with so many options. I could eat here all week and not get bored.

Only downside - the space is loud - high, open ceilings. Challenging to talk with a larger group.

My all time favorite! I wish there was a location on NW 14th and Euclid where the old Village Inn was!

Gave 24 hours for a big delivery, paid extra for delivery, and food was almost a half hour late. A bit disappointing.

This place was so good and had SUCH variety! I just wanted a light lunch, so I had a salad, but the sandwiches and soups looked so good! I love how tasty and fresh everything tasted, and how friendly everyone was! I wish we had a Palmer’s closer to us!

There was roaches crawling on the floor and I was mistreated by the manger Tammy. Do not recommend.

There are so many great options at this place! I have my favorites here, but I am trying new stuff every time I come. This place just doesn't disappoint! A must try place!

I got there real early and it was not busy, at all except for pick up orders. Apparently, those orders are more important than the customers standing in front of them. Also, there is no back help from the other stations. If you're standing and waiting for someone to make your salad and no one is in the soup line, nope, soup guy is not going to pitch in and assist the salad guy. I stood there and waited for him to start and finish his "call in" order.
But the food is so good, I will always go back. I'll just have to plan extra time for those "phone-in / on line" orders.

Stopped in for light soup lunch this time. Appreciate the variety of soups daily. Love the salads as well. Really cannot go wrong here. Highly recommended!

My sister brought me here, it was my first time, and I was impressed very helpful and very good food! Price was high, but I expected it from a deli.

Food was good. Service at the soup counter was slow. Kind of pricey but what isn't now a days.

Salads are always fresh and yummy! Giving a 4 star because the dressing was a bit tasteless.
