Pancheros Mexican Grill, Altoona IA

Ordered online, arrived after estimated time to pick up. Staff continued serving guests in line as my online receipt sat on the table. They then ran out of rice and guacamole.

I ordered ahead online. When i went in I waited 20minutes then realized 30 minutes into me waiting they started mine. I ordered online at 11: 33 didn’t get mine till 11: 58

Burritos falling apart even before the soggy meat soaked through. No veggies available at first, then ran out of black beans too! How do they run out of all product at lunch time? Terrible checkout service as well. Very disappointed! Will always go to chipotle in the future.

Food was cold and one worker was slacking badly and the girl had to direct him what to do, and he was very nonchalant about everything upsetting the girl and customers.

Took way way to long to place my order then they didn't have what I wanted. Poor staffing.

Food is always good but service is always lacking. Unfriendly staff and don’t seem to have much of a hustle when things are busy. Seems like no one really cares about the actual service here. Needs help.

Understaffed, unhappy stressed out crew everyday for lunch. It’s good when the crew isnt stressed tf out. Who would want to work here?

Fantastic server. The PROPER amount of shredded cheese was applied to my burrito. Most servers add a little pinch of cheese, when it should be a handful. I've been charged extra money for LESS cheese before.

The kid that was making burritos had gloves on but he was touching his hair and hat the lady that was in charge just stood there watching him and didn't say anything to him

Very over priced. And they ran out of rice. Ended up waiting 20 minutes, not the 10 minutes they said when I walked in the door

The dough looked a little old so the person got a whole new batch.

Check your online orders before leaving store! Ordered 3 burritos, 2 were exactly the same, and the third was entirely different. Only received 2 burritos. Went back into store, explained that we were shorted one. They assumed they knew which one and made a third. Left again. Since none of the burritos are labeled (some pancheros will include individual tickets so you know which burrito is which) I had to unwrap each one only to find out they didn’t make the missing burrito, they made another of the two identical burritos. Had to go back to store a third time just to get it right. Workers were nice and ultimately fixed the issue, but it shouldn’t take three visits to a store to get an online order correct: (

Pancheros food is always good but the service was excellent! Staff was friendly and accommodating, the restaurant was clean and enjoyable to dine in!

The you worst Pancheros I have ever been to, have been served raw uncooked rice, multiple times cold ingredients and stale tortillas took 30 minutes to get one burrito with only three other people in the restaurant. The portion sizes were laughable would not recommend ever visiting.

I tried to order a burrito at 830 on a Monday and they were out of almost everything. No carnitas, steak looked old and dry, chicken looked worse. I was dumbfounded, because I love pancheros. But wow.

The tall man wearing the glasses running the store today was outstanding. He is clearly under staffed but is pumping out orders quickly and efficiently with poise, even as the line continues to grow. If he is not the owner of the site, he certainly has ownership mentality and I hope he is given the proper recognition for that. Great job today, if this is the customer service you provide all the time, you have a customer for life.

I’ve been to this location twice and both times have been the most awful of experiences I have ever accoutered from the service industry. The first time the employees were just down right rude and the second time the employees rather gossip with one another about a pregnant coworker then talk to the customers at hand. I asked a question 3 times to one of the employees just to be ignored and have her continue to gossip. And they acted like the customers were an inconvenience to them the whole time. Oh well, guess my family and I won’t inconvenience this establishment with our business anymore.

Food was AMAZING. Homemade tortillas pressed in front of you. Chips, chicken bowl & guacamole was excellent! Downside of it-Employees looked a bit sketchy, moved like turtles, tables were filthy, garbage on the floor, no ice in the soda machine. The quality & the taste of everything I ate outweighed everything else going on tho!
