Peace Tree Brewing Co. - Des Moines Branch

Since it was our first time here we each got a flight and the beers were super good! The vibe was very relaxed and we had a great time! 10/10 would go again. Plus the bartenders were friendly and even memorize which handle goes to which beer. Impressive!

One of my favorite breweries in Des Moines. The brews are delicious with some twists thrown in for good measure. You'll get more to choose from than just an amber, a lager, and a bunch of IPAs. These people know how to brew beer, not too sweet, not too hoppy. Try the award winning Blonde Fatale or their variations. Careful though, at 8.5%, if you're not experienced with the lady, she'll knock you on your azz.

Wife and I went and played some boardgames and cards, it was a great place to chill out together.

Environment was nice and staff was very chill. We sat inside. I ordered the Passionfruit Orange Guava Sour Ale. I don't ever drink beer because I don't care for the taste, but this was very tasty.

Super chill vibe. Friendly staff. Quick service. Found extra seating in the back and there’s yoga on their lawn in the summer!

Mehhh…. The beer is okay. At least the patio is actually dog friendly. But the guy pouring beer was pretty worthless. I generally try to chat the bartender up and pick out beers that they “do well” but this guy had NO IDEA about their product.
Coming from a state (Colorado) where most of the bartenders help in the brewing, PLEASE provide a semi competent bartender for your brewery. Nothing is worse than randomly selecting brews based on silly names.

Fantastic brewery for any occasion. We have been coming for years and it’s a favorite. Great beers and other treats! Everyone is friendly and everyone is welcomed. They do a fantastic job!

My whole family was in town for a wedding and decided to try this brewery out. Their space was so inviting and the staff was very friendly! We all enjoyed our beers and I would become a regular if I loved in Des Moines! Well done

Start with the flights and be sure you get Keg of Cookies (tastes like choc chip cookies) and the Nitro Stout. Lovely grassy area to sit on.

I held a birthday party here for my dad. There was great email communication with Taylor as I was planning the event from Florida. They were super accommodating and the staff once there were phenomenal! Great beer, sour and cider selection and even offer beer cocktails for those who aren't huge beer drinkers. I will definitely be back the next time I'm in town.
