Every Pella Window I have is based on the durability of the string that makes it work. When that sting brakes Pella wants you to replace the entire window for $1,500 to $2,000. Why should they get rich for poor engineering and support!

Window was broken back in March by roofing contractor. Had to beg for a service person to come and inspect it to order the appropriate replacement. Delay due to pandemic was lengthy but not unanticipated. Finally got a call about the installation and when the service person arrived, he discovered that the wrong window had been ordered. Have been told that the earliest the replacement, replacement window can be installed is mid-July! Have Pella windows in 2 houses and had good use, but this service fiasco has soured me on ever using or recommending them in the future. If you contemplate using Pella, consider the service they may or may not be able to deliver.

Great product, process and team. Can’t thank Justin and installation team enough for the beautiful end result.

Bad management, HR doesn’t care about employees, management enters in your time which they messed up my hours and didn’t pay me correctly. Never did pay me what I was owed, made me work while my son was very sick and in the hospital. My son was with a new sitter and became very ill, told me if I left I would be pointed and they were not going in not to remove it. Claim to be family friendly and are fair from it, horrible place to work. Made me do work I wasn’t comfortable with while pregnant, even though I had a miscarriage not even three months prior. I wish I could leave zero stars. All about money, your a number.

Pella as a corporation is awful. My windows arrived with multiple defects and Pella has little interest in solving them unless I get irate on the phone. If you enjoy sub standard product and disinterested customer service go with Pella.

I made the mistake of purchasing my Pella windows from Lowe's. They were installed improperly with NO insulation around the 1/4" gap for all sides of the windows. Lowe's won't make good on a faulty installation and Pella won't either because "their team didn't do the installation". Just a word of advice to anyone considering the purchase of a Pella product DON'T.

I applied when they wanted help. They interviewed me over the phone, telling me to come in. They interviewed me again. They said they didn't want me because I had no experience in manufacturing. I was willing for them to train me while I worked there but they didn't give me a chance.

I have had nothing but problems out of pella architectural windows. They have been in for 10 years and I have had service called on them every year, wind blowing ice forming on the inside of the windows. There seals do not last. Ice formed on a double hung window on the north side of my house and broke the seal. They replace under warranty but did not fix how it broke. The price for these windows should of lasted more then ten years.

I receive harassing robo-calls from Pella's Iowa-based phone number 5-10 times a day despite having never interacted with the company. That alone is enough to make sure I never do business with them in the future.

Fine products but siloed organization resulting in uncertainty. Local people try hard but corporate does not have their act together.

Screen door is a piece of junk. I can't get their customer service dept to answer my email. I called and left a message at the corporate office, so I'll see if I get a call back. I'm not holding my breath. The screen door has been garbage since the first day we purchased it. In addition, the installer did a shoddy job on installing our very EXPENSIVE sliding door. Now, again the "weather" strip is a ripped up mess. I don't even know what to do about this or how this even happens. The screen door wasn't used one time during the winter. I do know that I'm very sorry that I didn't do my homework. I have told so many people about this horrible experience, and to go with a reputable company, because Pella is definitely not reputable. The cost of the door was ridiculous, and now AGAIN I have to deal with a piece of garbage screen door and worry about bugs and flying insects getting into my home.

We are waiting for a response from Pella Corporation Management regarding two of the 11 Impervia (Fiberglass) Case Mount Windows. We purchased and had Pella Corporation install these windows on 04/07/2015 for $28,000. The window frames have gaps in the corners where water can penetrate the frame. We have recently learned the windows were equipped with a water weeping system. This comment was retracted, we were then advised these windows have a water management system. We have contacted Pella Corporation Customer service with no resolve.
Pella Corp advised the gaps in the frames & other defects are just an aesthetic issue, & meet their standards & tolerances. Pella Corp Management is in denial regarding their Murray, Kentucky manufacturing facility quality control issues & dysfunctional operations of our local Pella Distributor.
During one of many visits by our local Pella Distributor two installation technicians replaced the wood spacer with a composite material spacer below one of our windows. When the wood spacer was removed the lower portion of the window frame corners flopped down and was only supported at the center of the window. No injected material or a bonded corner lock observed in window frame corners.
The window screens have been removed, the sharp corners have damaged the molding.
My mistake for purchasing these Impervia Pella Windows was based on a purchase 20 years ago, that was a big mistake.
We have finally resumed our window/door replacement project with Marvin products, December 2017.
Pella Corporate Management you would be impressed with our Marvin Windows.

Pella casement windows are junk. Don't buy them. Pella's customer service is terrible. Its amazing they can stay in business. I bought windows from them less than a year ago, and they flap around in the breeze. When a stronger wind comes along, they broke. (twice) Pella's first response - don't open the window.

Purchased Pella vinyl replacement windows in December 2013 from Lowe's. Most of the sashes are difficult to raise and lower. Several of the screens either had bent frames or screen was coming out of spline. Installation contractor butchered our vinyl siding. Called Lowe's for service on the windows. They referred the call to local Pella store, which made 3 appointments and missed every one of them. Vinyl siding repair is still pending, too. Go with Simonton!

I had a home built with all Pella Proline windows. They completely failed in 10 years due to hidden damage caused by failure between the aluminum cladding and the window.

Unfortunately, Pella's customer service is the worst I have ever seen. Stay away from Pella and choose a more reputable brand.

They treat there employees like dirt. I worked there for 6 months, I was in agony, they wouldn't move me around, made me work 10 hr.days in pain. The Dr. Put me on light duty, they would not find me something and ended up firing me, Iam still to this day, disabled from the hard work I was forced to do, with no type of compensation.
