Horrible experience. Everything was so dirty and everything smelling musty. The food was a joke. TRULY disgusting. I should have taken a picture of the food to show how unappetizing it was. Stay at the Carriage House Bed & Breakfast in Grinnell. It's so much nicer and the owners are amazing and it's super clean.
Everything was amazing, the did, the murder mystery, and the after party. The host was so great!
Had a great time on Halloween with the friends and and family with at the Mad Max themed event! Will do again!
Very cute and nice bed and breakfast with a fun spooky atmosphere. The rooms vary in size and shape but all have their own theme which is fun. The host was very nice and welcoming, and they made sure we were comfortable and taken care of. Highly recommend bringing a small group of friends to stay here.
My friends and I have always wanted to try a murder mystery dinner, and this experience exceeded our expectations! Not only was the murder mystery game enjoyable, but we got the chance to meet some very fun individuals and hang out afterwards for some late night drinks and karaoke! Jodi did a wonderful job of hosting and her priority was to make sure everyone was enjoying themselves. Definitely a great spot for outgoing individuals!

This place is absolutely amazing and the most fun we have had in a long time! The owner, Jodi, treats you like family the moment you walk in the door! She is extremely thoughtful, a wonderful cook and the leader of fun! She doesn’t miss a single detail, right down to a basket of reading glasses for the guests to use if needed. We had the pleasure of also meeting some of her family who are great at chipping in to help out. The stories Jodi can tell you will keep you laughing for hours! Inside this beautiful home the things you can look at and read is also entertaining! We loved every single minute of our stay and are already planning the next one!
