Persis Biryani Indian Grill

I’ve eaten here a few times. So unbelievable good! I highly recommend the Chicken Tikka Masala and the Chicken Vindaloo. Love this place.

Not very hygienic, food is not fresh at all and bad customer services. I would never go to this restaurant at all.

The best Indian food I've had in iowa. The atmosphere is relaxed. Service is great. And the food simply speaks for itself. I have been and will remain a big fan.

I came here for the first time today with my family! The staff were so kind and the food is incredible! I’m vegan and they adapted their roti so I could eat it! Thank you all so much! We will be returning regularly

Best Indian food I’ve ever had in my life and it’s not close. Staff were patient and kind. Everything on the menu that I tried was delicious and came in large portions. I absolutely recommend Persis to anybody who wants to expand their palate and isn’t afraid to try something new.

So I don't know how to write this review because if I do it's going to be long and drawn out. So all I can say is the $816 reviews and four and a half stars. That should tell you all you need to know. But what I can say is it's like I don't know. I'm at a loss for words

Food was quite tasty.i recommend the gobi manchurian (mild for me). If you didnt read the menu you might think it was fried chicken but it’s cauliflower.flavors are on point.menu is descriptive and big but not owerwhelming.chill atmosphere.

I’m somewhat of an Indian Food junkie. At one point it was so bad my parents would find me in alley’s behind Curry Houses shooting Butter Curry directly into the veins of a forearm. Then I graduated to the hard stuff, cutting up chicken masala with a credit card and snorting it right on the table, pounding mango lassi’s with reckless abandon. But I got help, and now I go here to get my fix. Easily the best in town, and served by authentic Indians that make you want to take them by the hands and sing and dance to a Bollywood music video every time they come to the table. The food is that good. I literally converted to Hinduism after I had the cheese naan, because it only could have been made by a collection of Gods in a group project.

I’ve never had Indian food before and it exceeded my expectations. The service was great and the staff was friendly. My chicken dish was very flavorful and tasty! I am definitely coming back here!

The butter chicken, chicken tikka masala, the garlic naan, and the samosas are all perfection. We’ve been searching around Des Moines for authentic East Indian cuisine that is full of flavor but also able to accommodate those of us who (sadly) can’t do super spicy foods. Love this place!

The place is nice with good parking and amenities.the taste of food is authentic Indian style. The spicy levels are good and you can always customize them. The place is close to most of the restaurants, market places and shopping malls so definitely a stop by. They don't have a buffet option but dine-in is really good. The staff are friendly. The atmosphere is a bit crowded and small doesn't fit to a good restaurant though that's the only reason for a four star ratings.

I had a fantastic experience at Persis and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for delicious and authentic Indian cuisine. The friendly staff inviting atmosphere and exceptional food make it a must visit for anyone who loves Indian food or want to try something new

We were doing a lite lunch and the waiter was very helpful with helping us select appropriate dishes. The food was delicious.

I love the food here! Every time I get over to this side of town I grab a meal here. I have tried over 10 different menu items and they have all been fantastic. I even have friends tagging along when they know I'm headed there now!

Have been coming to this place since 3yrs. Their quality of food Consistently maintained as first day I visited. Service is remarkable. If you guys never been to this place you would miss experience to have authentic Indian food.

Keep the cook but fire the server, he was downright awful at his job. When it came time to pay he just shoved the card machine right in my face. Total lack of respect towards his guests. Took forever to get our togo containers too. Next time I’ll be getting the food togo and I’ll be giving the cook (s) cash. They’re the ones who actually deserve it.
