Pizza Ranch reviews
7Kind, helpful, polite, inviting, and well trained was the younger lady at front counter. The food took 10min longer then told over phone.
First time eating from the Pizza Ranch I will be returning. It says another when you call in an order and when you walk in the door for the first time they know you called in. I don't know if it is because I have a thick southern accent or what but they had everything ready and it was phenomenally good. Far superior to most national chains.
Floors were dirty, no hand soap in ladies room. We ordered the buffet, sat down to eat and observed an employee in the window cutting pizzas after he ate something. There should be NO eating in kitchen and if you do, you need to wash your hands. We told "the manager" and it did not seem to matter.
It is too bad because I love Pizza Ranch.
Pizza is always hard and dry. In the hour we were there, 80% of employees just sat around on their phones and none of the food was rotated to fresh food. Pizza looks and tasted like it has been there since noon. Tables dirty, the counter where you pay was covered in dust, seats sticky. It used to be a fun and delicious place. But now all I do is go home feeling sick.
My husband and I were wanting pizza so we called Hawarden Iowa Pizza Ranch and nobody answered the phone. We let it ring six times and nobody answered. We called three more times same story. This was a Saturday around 6pm. This is the third time this has happened to us. Not happy at all.
The food was good but I slowly lost my appetite because I could see in the kitchen and not a single person was wearing gloves and when I questioned why no one was wearing gloves was told as long as the food is cooked they didn't have to unless prepping I've been to other pizza ranchs recently and they wore gloves
