Playground For Kids, Ankeny IA

The staff and equipment was awesome for my kids birthday party. They helped setting up the birthday party decorations, food, and presents. The cost was a little high but the kids had a great time.

Playground for Kids is a nice space to celebrate birthdays and other occasions. The first room is a lot less crowded since they removed one of the inflatables. The 2nd room is large. There is ample space and various types of seating. The climate control is just right and there are fans that help circulate the air. The staff is friendly, but seems they are slim on staff.

This is one of our kids favorite place! They always get so excited when we go. We do try to time it around lunch time because their pizza is TOP NOTCH. Their prices aren’t bad at all, and it’s extremely clean. Highly recommend!

Wild kids? Look no further! This establishment has a snack and drink area and plenty of bounce houses and permanant playground equipment to have the littles asleep before returning home.

Absolutely a top-notch 100% place to take your it's safe clean and the staff are so very my daughter loaded mean our grandchildren there for the very first time and it was just a day of absolute Joy I couldn't have imagined so much fun it has a little kitchen for you to order snackeez back and just let's say you have to experience it to know what I'm saying absolutely 100%

We've done two play dates here && the kids just love it! They offer a two kid special on Tuesdays the price is low on average for ALL DAY play. They serve food with area to sit && enjoy as well. They change out inflatables, so even going the second time, the kids got to experience a whole new inflatable. Plenty to keep the kids busy && they even had a scavenger hunt the kids got a treat after completing for this month events. Definitely will be a new spot to bring the littles. And the staffing I wish I could remember her name she really made the whole place just feel homey an her tune to kids just shines! Definitely great personality ️ (to the ginger with glasses u rock girl) lol

Recently moved to Ankeny and found this place! My son had an amazing time here! I will be bringing him here a lot!

We visit fairly regularly for our toddlers. The place is clean and staff always pleasant. The only thing I wish is that they would rotate out inflatables once in awhile but our toddlers love it each time regardless.

Girls that work here act like little entitled brats and get mad when you ask about the food you ordered 25 mins ago! Would not recommend

The girls here are rude and when you ask for your food they forget and you have to go up there and remind them

Lots of space and activities. My 6-year-old LOVED it. He’s excited to bring some friends back! I wouldn’t be surprised if he asks to do his birthday party here this year!

My kids had a blast. It was my first time there. The staff was very friendly as well as clear and concise with their rules. The staff made sure that my kids understood the rules as well. I will be returning. Nice, safe and very much so child friendly.

My favorite place to take littles. I isn't too crowded in early afternoon and it's reasonably priced. The almost 3 y/o I watch has a ball and goes on everything. It's 5

Such a great place! The punch card is a good value, and the concession stand is affordable. The person working was super friendly, and the place was clean. We will definitely be going back!

Needed a place to let my toddler grandson burn off energy before getting on an evening flight back home to Phoenix.
It was perfect that it was close to the hotel and not far from where we had lunch. He had a blast. We enjoyed watching Bob Ross painting on the big screen TV
Great way to keep kids happy and grandma calm and happy too.
Will definitely be back on his next visit.

I am following up on my original post from quite a while ago as I want to give "kudos" to proactive management and customer service. The manager contacted me personally after my original post and addressed my concerns. I would gladly revisit her business. The situation I was concerned was discussed in a thoughtful and productive way.

Perhaps my grandchild's experience was different from other children. My initial impression was to not recommend for smaller kids under 5. There were too many big kids running around the day we were there, which can be intimidating for young ones. I was disappointed when he was ready to leave in 20 minutes even though he was feeling his normally active self. He normally has more fun at Mearle Hay where it is less crowded - and free.

But my grandchildren's lack of enthusiasm was just a function of age and a crowded day with many older children enjoying themselves. If the two grandchildren had stayed the whole afternoon and it was less crowded, it would have been money well spent.

Every child is different, so I would still recommend to try the playground once. There was an older lady there - maybe the owner - who was very friendly.

Love this place! Hidden gem for days when schools are closed and bad weather days. My kids can stay all day and have a blast!

My kiddos (2 &4) LOVE coming here. It's a great deal when you buy the punch cards too. Way more affordable than the trampoline parks.
