Dont rent from these guys they are the worst landlords to rent from they wont do repairs the right way there properties are all roach and bedbugs infested and they wont deice the walk ways and they will harass you

DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT RENT FROM THEM. THEY SIGNED A CONTRACT TO RECIEVE PAYMENTS FROM THE STATE OF IOWA AND IN SAID CONTRACT WERE TO DISMISS ANY AND ALL LATE FEES OR COURT COSTS FOR THOSE MONTHS. THEY NOW CLAIM THEY NEVER SIGNED SAID CONTRACT YET TOOK THE MONEY FROM THE STATE.
THEN EVICTED US BECAUSE OF SAID LATE FEES AND COURT COSTS. THEY ALSO CAME INTO MY HOUSE WHILE WE WERE MOVING OUT AND STARTED BREAKING ALL OF MY STUFF. (entertainment center busted, brand new pioneer woman kitchen set busted, butter dish busted, engagement picture frame busted, stolen brand new shark vacuum, stolen brand new office chair, 3 bikes stolen, kids ride on Harley stolen.)
I wouldnt trust them with a 10 foot pole. They lie, they steal, their snobby and rude, and they don't like to fulfill work orders. I was refused access to my online portal where I had to place maintenance orders. We had no cold water in our bathroom to the sink for over a month. They could care less.
PMR didn't even own the house we lived in. A couple that lives in Johnston does. I wrote them a nice letter about how PMR was treating tenants in their house.

DO NOT COSIDER! General overview: slum lord. When they get a new property on their manage they will claim 0 damage deposit has been paid, regardless what previous land manager provides. Secondly they will not fix ANYTHING, my wife and I have lived in an apartment they manage for 3 years, never fixed a heater, mouse problem, and they always shift blame. If you get a seven day notice to clean the premises they will not come inspect property before asking you to move. They will lie to prospective land management making it near impossible to find a new residence. Then when you need to talk to the owner and send an e mail slow and inadequate answers are provided, I.e. Placing it under topic of maintenance. If could rate lower than one or negative stars I would. Overall if you rent from them expect to be held personally responsible for everything even if traditionally a land lord responsibility.

I wouldn’t send my worst enemy to this company. They are totally non responsive. Do not take care of their properties what so ever! Bullet holes, who cares! They supply no utilizes and then charge you for them when you leave! When I moved in there where no smoke detectors yet I was charged for 8 of them! Then charged for not returning the keys nor finish lease even know I have paper work that Says I did! I wouldn’t send my worse enemy here!

They made me pay $400 for a deposit for my cat after I was told it would be $200. The house I am renting from PMR said $750 a month in the ad, but they are making me pay $780. My central air doesn't work, neither does the heat. Also at least half of my outlets dont work.

Very prejudice and discriminating people they kept calling my working dog a pet when I gave them papers an my worker was standing there watching everything! They need to be taken out of business because thay hat people with disabilities!

They are very slow in getting things repaired.then when they do fix something they do it half way.

Pmr is the worst. Point blank period I've filed BBB complaints. Absolutely horrible experience. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone.

This place is a joke. They treat properties like trash. They own several houses around me. All but 1 are in bad shape. How does the city allow them to stay in business is beyond me.

Affordable housing and apartments, great for people who don't want to be bothered because they definitely won't be around for much. Most of the properties are in bad areas but a good way to establish rental history.

I will give a higher or lower rating depending on if i get my deposit back from the apt i moved out of. I rented from them again at a diffrent address and they told me it was going to take 3 weeks to get my deposit. Im begaining week 3

Customer service was helpful and friendly throughout our ordeal, they addressed my issue in a timely, and proper manner

Texted regarding a property.
Applied - spent $20 to do so.
THEN was told I could not qualify for a house because my job offer letter was not enough.
Scamming people out of application fees.

113 reviews and they have 2.5 stars, that’ll tell you something. But I rented from them in missouri and it was great, moved to iowa to be with family. Had someone take over my lease in MO so I left on good terms, moved in to a place in IA and it was the worst. Someone entered my place while I was gone and they left the door open. They told me neighbors were constantly complaining all while I could hear them at all hours cracked out. They called me one day about my dog which I know I put down on the lease since he is emotional support and he was on the last lease, whoever I spoke too was super rude and instantly started yelling at me so Ofcourse I yelled back and she hung up multiple times on me. I thought it was all figured out then kept getting texts and attempts to charge me for a pet deposit AGAIN. I moved out February first so I asked if I could just pay a week instead of like two and a half and get my deposit back. They said if I dropped off the keys I wouldn’t owe anything. Never got my deposit and they already had someone moved in. Which I’ve looked into laws and if they accept the keys early it means I get my deposit and don’t owe anything. So now I’m going to be looking into a lawyer to try to get my deposit back. I do not recommend. I hate that I have told others it wasn’t a bad place. Never again. Oh don’t let me forget their roaches and bed bugs!
