THEY DO NOT COOK THEIR CHICKEN PROPERLY. STEER CLEAR OF THIS LOCATION! Got food poisoning from undercooked chicken.

Unfortunately I would advise against going to this store I've been here several times and it seems they always forget something and I would definitely consider traveling a little further to a different location because this location just has poor service and the food is just not that good

We went to the restaurant on the south side and they were out of bone in chicken, the chicken sandwich, biscuits, buffalo sauce. Who runs a place like that? It was awful!

I keep trying to give them the benefit of the doubt but alas. They really shouldn’t call it fast food. It always always always takes them a long time to get your food. I have no clue as to why. Unless they make each order as they come in. Pretty good food but sometimes not worth the wait.

Got told we ain’t got no spicy chicken, then just asked for regular and got attitude for it. Ordered 3 sides, after getting to the window was overcharged and laughed at. Pulled out of the drive just to find out I got a chicken sandwich and the wrong sides. Go back up to the window to tell them I got the wrong order and now “ they outs of chicken” “you get what you get man” Seriously, don’t waste your time showing up here, this store should be closed.

Yeah this place is terrible. Avoid, avoid, avoid! Manager is nice but lacking in management skills and the staff doesn't seem to care about fast service. Your customers shouldn't be waiting for over an hour, do better Popeyes!

Been 2 Popeyes on se 14 th twice this week and meees my order up both times after repeating my order multiple times

This location is TRASH. Food is wrong and went to try and go through the lobby but the door is closed. Gone other times at around 5pm and they said they are closed. Just go ahead and shut this place down since the most remedial tasks like getting someone's order right seems to be difficult. Also, why is your lobby not open? That makes no sense unless the workers are closing it on purpose.

Staff was amazing at the east 14th st in Des Moines. Very polite and made sure my order was fresh! Everyone was busy and just working hard!
I have had bad experiences in the past at this location but that’s been a while ago! Sounds like they cleaned that place up and is running how a fast food chain should. Front desk employees were awesome! Hands down the best experience at this location! I have lived near the Des Moines location for 43 years and I will definitely refer this location and frequent now after this last visit. Ashley was the gal up front who was awesome! Thank you for great service!

No stars. I'm tired of this place ripping me off. They never get the order right! Pathetic! From this point forward it's burger joints. Fuq popeyes!

Been waiting 20 minutes to have food brought out to me and out of biscuits charged full price. Ridiculous!

Horrible service got all my meals completely wrong and had attitudes when I called to complain about it.they gave me what they wanted to give me not what I ordered at all.they had no sauces nor plastic wear to eat my sides with my chicken. I wouldn't recommend this Popeyes to anyone.

I ordered supper in the drive thru one night and enjoyed the experience so much, I went back the next day to put in a large order for a work meeting!

I'd ordered a spicy chicken sandwich & they asked about it again at the drive through window, but they gave me a classic instead

It hasn't changed in the 42 years I have been going to popeyes, good ol southern fried chicken and the red beans and rice is fantastic. If you haven't tried it, get in your car now and drive to the closest one. " this is only my opinion you do not have to get in your car, but try it out soon"

Saturday night my family and I stopped in. The entire kitchen staff was hanging around outside and saw us pull in. We waited at the counter for well over 5 minutes. Another guy showed up and we waited longer, still no employee came. I decided to pull a Karen. Left AND wrote a bad review. Garbage service.

So I stopped at this location today and I got a 14 piece family meal spicy and I am trying to figure out how when I break the chicken open it was bleeding and I also got 2 red beans and rice and it was basically all rice no beans really not happy at all I spent 30 dollars and then I ask the manger do she no why the chicken was bleeding and she told me she did not no so I am not happy at all

Crispy chicken, even with delivery. We did not care for the Mac n cheese but that's just our opinion. Too cheesy/greasy if you can believe it!

Biscuit fluffy and fresh. They did not include butter, silverware, or napkins with the delivery which was a bummer.

Chicken was great. Like I said- nice a crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside. It was $18.50 for a 3 piece meal but that included delivery charge and tip. It was enough for me and an 8 year old so still not bad.

The line at drive through was so long, I felt fortunate to be able to reverse back out of there. We didn't move for over 20 mins!
