First waitress didn’t introduce herself it was a “what do you want to drink” then she never came back someone else had to take order and she was okay. Food had hair in it in both entress

Company hosted a work social event here and it was a great place. Servers and bartenders were friendly, fast, and attentive. Wasn’t able to sample any food on this trip, but I know I’ll be returning!

Great spot! Clean, friendly, good food. Wish they were open till at least midnight or 2am because it’s a great place to chill

First time there, I had the burger with Guda and bacon, Bacon was thick and caramelized, Burger was cooked exactly as I asked for it. Stake fries were alot thinner and a stake fry and crispy. Wife had the loaded nachos with Chicken, she was very impressed. We will be back!

Above average food! But the waitstaff needs some coaching. Last night my husband and I arrived at 5: 30 and promptly ordered. Took 25 minutes for our food to arrive. The food was great as always. We had a waitress who showed up at 6: 04 while we were eating and asked if we were ready for our ticket. We said no we’d be awhile. She can back less than 10 minutes later and asked again if we were ready for our ticket. We had plans and were going to leave at 6: 30. It’s unfortunate that her intentions were that she wanted us to give up our table. I realize that the Iowa game was coming on at 7: 00 but there were plenty of tables and the staff was not busy. I really like that place, but when you can’t go out for a nice dinner without the bum rush, we decided we won’t be back. Btw I waitressed for years and I can tell her that she will lose tips with that behavior. Too bad she cost you customers as I’ve brought friends there several times. Also, she never even ask my husband if he wanted another drink. Lost you money there too.

We love coming here! Best Espresso Martinis and cheese curds (odd combo lol but delish, sounds weird but it is) in the metro! Actually all the food and drinks we’ve had have been spot on! The staff is always super friendly and efficient! Like an idiot I left my jacket on my chair and our waitress ran it clear to the road to our truck, so above and beyond! Thank you!

Great winter drink menu! The maple old fashioned was amazing! The pickle balls were a great surprise too.

Great place to watch football, my burger was amazing and delicious, our server Cassy was super friendly and gave us 5 star service.

This steak Philly is the best I’ve ever had! Yumm! I’ve had a little bit of everything on the menu and let me tell you the food is just delicious here. The PC sauce is hands down service is always GREAT from start to finish. If you haven’t been here please check them out asap, you won’t be disappointed. (They also have a kids menu and my kids also love it!)

Everything about our experience at Poor Choices was amazing! The service from the minute you walk in the door is so great and the staff are so welcoming and kind. My friend and I ordered 3 appetizers and a mega mule and everything tasted so good. The portion sizes were shocking… in the best way! For $40 each, we had plenty of food to fill us way up and also went home with 2 full boxes. Abbey was our bartender and she made the most delicious mule we had ever had.the real fruit purée takes it to a whole new level! Thank you Poor Choices! We will be back!

I ordered a carry out order and when I arrived to pick it up no one had any idea I had called in an order so my food was not ready. Even though the food was fresh the fries were soggy. The sandwich I orfered was supposed to have caramelized onions on it. They were not. They were still crunchy.

Had an amazing burger, The Iowa Burger, cooked to perfection, and the best sweet potato fries I’ve ever tasted! Will definitely go back!

Quite possibly the best hand breaded chix strips in DSM metro. Great Buffalo. Great buttermilk ranch. Flat fries are money

Might be possibly the cleanest bar ever! The beer was cold and the food was awesome.and finally our server was excellent. We will stop again if we are back in Iowa.

This was our first visit. We came in for lunch. Hubby and I both had hamburgers. They were huge! Good atmosphere. Will definitely stop in again.

Kind of a boring environment very strip mall however, food was really good, the bartender was a delight and those blended drinks will make me go back.

Ordered the BLT sandwich as it’s that time of year. The menu said the bacon was candied so I was expecting something on the sweet and savory side. However the bacon was so spicy I took one bite of my sandwich and couldn’t eat anymore my mouth was on fire. I told this to the waitress and she had said she had others that day say the same thing. She told us she let the kitchen know but did not offer to do anything to make it right. Paid full price for a sandwich that I couldn’t eat.

I initially gave a 3 star review. Since then I have come back several times with great experiences. Owners are welcoming and wonderful to chat with. Food is generous and always good. All servers have been fantastic and my order has never been wrong.

The food was okay, priced well. Small selection of Iowa brewery beers. The atmosphere was nice, the service was great.
