Precision Family Eyecare, Grimes IA

I had been putting off going to the eye doctor after not having good experience with another place. Precision Eyecare was recommended to me so I gave it a chance. It was such a good experience and will continue to go back there. Staff was friendly and did a great job of explaining every step.

Everything about this office is awesome. The receptionist are friendly and flexible. The doctor takes his time and listens. And does his best to find solutions. Honestly kinda hate it's only a yearly check up.

Friendly, knowledgeable staff from the front office to the Doctors! Quick response to needs. Bariety of glasses & contacts. They take thier time to make sure the patients needs are met. They are awesome!

I was very impressed with Dr. Thornton and the staff at Precision Family Eyecare. My questions were answered, and procedures were explained. The front staff was friendly and helpful while I selected my new frames.

The service is great and the staff provide regular updates about when your eye glasses will be ready.

I love both Dr. Thornton and Dr. Bell. We have been using their eyecare since they started in this building. Our whole family goes! They listen, are very thorough, and any concern or question I’ve had, they provide answers. They’re also good with emergency type eye situations!

I told my wife it would be easy for myself and daughters (aged 2 and 4) to go for first time eye exams.silly me! Dr Luke Bell knocked it out of the park by keeping them content and engaged during their eye exam. You can tell he's an awesome dad with how he talked to my girls and explained all the instruments, machines, and gadgets. His patience and demeanor left my girls begging to go back for another eye exam the next day. We're so glad we came to see Dr Luke Bell and look forward to visiting each year (I'll probably bring my wife to help, though)

Dr. Thornton is fantastic. It is such a relief to find a provider who talks to patients instead of at them. I ask a lot of questions, and this man took the time to answer all of them, fully.
Unfortunately, this doesn't happen very often in today's, so I am impressed and grateful to have found an optometrist who has the time and patience to talk to me like a real human. Thank you very much for being the old-school kind of doctor that we all deserve.

Also, the secretary (Amelia, I believe) is ALWAYS friendly, out-going and helpful every time I've interacted with her.

This place is a gem and I wish could find a team like this for all of our other health care needs.

Had a major change in vision, Precision was able to get me in right away and diagnose the issue. Had my new glasses within a week. Fast and Friendly service.

Really great experience. My eye had been swollen for three days and I finally decided I need to get in somewhere. They fit me in within the hour of me calling and I was able to get my prescription within the following hour. I had some issues with the pharmacy that they didn't have what I needed in stock, Precision quickly got back in contact with them and got things changed for me. My eye is feeling better already. 10/10 recommend Precision Eyecare.

The physician was very knowledgeable and gave me information specific to the issues that I am having with my vision. The staff was very friendly and helped me with selecting new frames and gave me an option of paying half upfront or paying the full balance. I would definitely recommend.
