3We got a large order for an event and the food was amazing! This is a mom and pop type of place and they were so sweet. I'm pretty sure they gave us a lot of extra food. We got papusas and and chicken/potato tamales. They are the type wrapped in banana leaf and were super moist. I lived on the sw side of Chicago for many years and these were definitely some of the best tamales and papusas I've ever had. This place is a gem, especially for a town like Ottumwa. Cash only and these is gas station across the street w/ an atm.
Delicious food for a really good price! It is cash only, so be sure to bring cash.

Very disappointing. The pupusas were way too small, and the curtido was dry. The horchata was so watered down. Nah, you can skip this place.
