Quality Inn & Suites Des Moines Airport

Rooms were not clean. Found a used needle in room and sheets for the one bed had stains all over it. Staff at front desk always seemed tired and upset to be there. Good location right off the airport though.

Stayed overnight as I had an early flight. Location is very good for easy and quick access to airport and parking. Room was standard with normal amenities (TV, Microwave, Mini Fridge, Coffee Maker, etc). Was clean and everything was in good condition.

Service was excellent from front desk. Very attentive, made sure I had everything I needed and gave some useful information I hadnt asked for. I was also impressed breakfast was set out and ready by 4: 15 so I could grab a bite to eat before heading to the airport for my 6 AM flight. Would highly recommend for a affordable overnight option with quick, easy access to airport. Would definitely go back again!

Worst stay ever I will never go back or recommend anyone to. I swear it was hood and rachet. Thinking that the hotel was close to airport it would be ok. But nope I give them a half but it didn't have that option.

Reasonable price, clean and tidy quiet room, shuttle service to the airport and also its just a 15 minute walk to the airport. Breakfast is ready at 4am. That was very convenient for me since I had to catch a flight early in the morning. Front desk was very kind and greeted me politely. I'd recommend this place for sure.

We enjoyed our stay. The gentleman at the front desk that checked us in and checked us out was very friendly and accommodating!

The ambiance is very good and the staff is very friendly. My stay with them went very smoothly just like I expected. The rooms are very clean ad I wanted to be and the breakfast they serve is hot and fresh. Overall my experience staying there is very comfortable and I would like to stay there again once I am in the town.

This place has gotten a little run down in the last few years. BUT it's quiet at night and I always get a great night of sleep here. For the price, it is a great place to crash before an early am flight or after a late arrival.

Room wasn't what I expected and one of the front desk people was very unpleasant towards the guests. I was told the breakfast is going to be good. I'll let you all know in the morning!

Pros: Clean and tidy, toiletries were restocked every morning by housekeeping, and the free breakfast was pretty good. Especially the biscuits and gravy.
Cons: this sounds bizarre but the outlets are terrible because the holes are too big. I couldn’t plug anything into my outlets because everything was loose and fell right out, so keeping my things charged was difficult. The cards to unlock your room are reset every day at noon, which is a little annoying when you’re staying more than one night. Front desk staff is a little inattentive/absent from time to time. The air conditioner absolutely blasted the smell of mold from its fans.

Great price, clean quiet room, shuttle service to the airport but for people like me who like to walk, its just a 15 minute walk to the airport and best of all, breakfast ready at 4am which was good because I had to be at the Airport st 6a.

Dirty towels left in are room and pop can half full by bed on the floor. Lip stick all over the room we had three rooms and every one had stuff wrong one even had hair in the bed

As a choice hotel member I don't mind staying in budget hotels BUT when I stay for three days and each day the front desk is on their personal cell watching videos instead of working. Sticky floor.ants literally on serving utensils during breakfast. Someone else's flavored water bottle on the floor (if they left something like this what else did they do) no house keeping everyday even when you request.no battery in smoke detector. Hot tub out of order. Pop machine out of order. Run far far away!

We booked two rooms for this weekend, August 12 - August 14. We had to request a change of rooms twice as the rooms either smelled very musty/moldy, urine (perhaps someone sneaked in their pets at one time) or smoked in. There was leftover moldy cheese in the refrigerator in one of the rooms, there was used hand soap bars put back into the package (an attempt to make it appear new), the windows on the first floor did not lock, there is no fire sprinkler system (detectors in the rooms like what you'd pickup from Walmart). I would NOT recommend this hotel at all.

No elevator so if handicapped ask for 1st floor. The pullout couch did not have clean sheets. Took 30 minutes at the desk to get new ones
Parking for trailers pretty challenging. Had a closed business parking lot next door to use.
