Great burger and fries. Friendly staff. Nothing particularly "railroad" about the place other than its location next to the tracks.

Fried chicken Saturdays are the best in Council bluffs Iowa! 4 yummy pieces of chicken mashed potatoes and yummy gravy, corn with soup or salad. No lying it is the best in town!

Did was good, but small burgers. The sweet potatoes fries are the best ever. Service is great.

Menu is basically all burgers. The wife and I wanted tenderloin and they only had one. She got a Philly and I got the tenderloin. Was not impressed, nothing like the Railway used to be.no hot beef except on one day.unfortunately probably won't go back.

Our breakfast was amazing. Waitress was prompt with service considering how many other people walked in around the same time.

It’s all good.definitely nothing fancy but good service, good food and good prices.highly recommended.

Got the Og burger and crinkle cut fries. Yum. Inhaled it. Food and service always good here for a bar and grill. Friendly waitress.

I can't say anything about the food because I haven't eaten there. However, service is always great with Tom Shea running the huddle! I'm probably impartial due to the fact Tom and I go way back for many shots, for many years, for a number of Iowa victories! If you like a low key older generation bar Railway is it! Nothing outrageous just sports, food, drinks, small town atmosphere, with sand volleyball.

Service and prices were good. Hashbrowns a little mushy and sausage too greasy. Orange juice horribly watery. I'll try again another time to see if it was just a fluke.

Edit 1yr later I've been back several times a week since and have not had an issue with any food since. Service and atmosphere has always been great. Some changes to the menu with the new owners but that's life right. They seem nice and they brought the volleyball courts back so that seems fun.

We stopped for breakfast. Two adults and two kids. Excellent food, great service. Jamie was our server and she made our day.

The service was great. Tom and Mckenzie were on top of our orders and drinks. Never had to find them to fill our drinks.

Friendly staff, great food and prices. First time to visit and liked it a lot. Waitress was friendly and telling us all all about their deals, especially Saturdays half chicken meal deal. Going to have to try that next. A lot to offer on it for little $.

The servers were friendly and the food was okay but service was a little slow and the place smelled bad.

Best chicken fried steak in the city! What an outstanding breakfast spot! Service was spot on as well. Definitely will be back.
