Rest Area Number 2 reviews
13We stop at this restaurant stop when traveling in the area. The restrooms are always clean.
We almost needed a front end alignment after pulling into the rest stop going west. They need to repave!
I love the theme of the mills, it was very nice, the only bad thing is the street there is all neglected, but very nice, the rest of the bathrooms are also clean.
Captain Ahab of Ahab's Adventures took a 'quick' nap here on our way to Boise, Idaho. This has to be the cleanest rest area we have ever been to. Not that this isn't a well known fact already about the rest areas along route 80 in Iowa, but we couldn't believe how true it really was. This rest area has a unique feature with a windmill blade towering over the place as a beacon that is lit around it at night. Tons of information inside as well. Not a bad place to take a stop if you happen to be passing through.
This rest area has a very informative educational theme about producing energy using wind technology. With a 148 ft wind mill blade on display this rest area also has an interactive playground to enjoy.
A really neat and fun rest area to visit. There are a lot of neat things to see about wind power, and numerous picnic benches and tables.
Why would I rate a rest area you go? There take care of your business and let another state take care of it too
I would give it 5 stars, but because of truck parking it’s only getting 4 stars ️ ️ ️ ️
It is a really nice rest area. But there is very limited parking for trucks. Everything else about this rest area is nice. A really cool single windmill blade displayed outside the rest area. When standing next to it you really get a prospective on how massive they are. The rest area was very clean and they had information all over about the windmills. Inside was the vending machines and pretty clean restrooms for both the women and men. Outside they have benches with weird metal designed overhangs. And plenty of space to walk your dog and take a breather. This is a nice rest area, just not the best place for a lot of trucks.
Clean barrooms, everything well stocked, free maps, pet area, handicapped access, close auto parking.
A beautiful, clean and well-maintained resting place that welcomes you with a weather vane.
At the time of writing this, I am an employee here and we do our best to keep it clean and sanitary for visitors. Highly recommended as you get to see a wind turbine blade.
All clean restrooms. Nice building. People using the grassy area suck. Stepped in dog crapp. Pick it up you lazy _.
p and got in my car, thank you.pick up your dogs crapp
As always clean appealing to your eyes and seems like always always always somebody's and they're cleaning
