RibCrib BBQ, Mason City IA

Both times we have gone here, the food was excellent! Last time, it was a holiday weekend. One of our sides was forgotten, and we had to wait a while on refills. I'm still giving 5 stars because it was insanely busy and the food was wonderful and staff was still really friendly even though they had to have been so stressed! Great job, guys!

We have come here twice. It’s the halfway point for meeting family from Minnesota. We have a party of 12 usually and everything both times has gone well and the food both times was great. We will continue to use this restaurant as a meeting place.

I can only speak to the catering service. They are horribly disorganized and unreliable. Even if they pulled through at this point I wouldn't trust them to show up.

I original contacted them in February for an even in July. They use a 3rd party to contract with. This company said they only needed 24 hours notice. I gave them 30 days notice. No response at all. I called and left a voice mail. Kaylen the manager cc'd me in an employee email and said somebody get back to her please. Nobody did. I called 2 days later and said last chance I really need to speak to a live person and I'm running out of time. Kaylen called, apologized profusely for the service, but said she couldn't place the order herself (?) and then basically begged me to just call Rib Crib directly.

I gave RibCrib the benefit of the doubt that they were just using a list catering contractor. I called and talked to Allison. She said she couldn't do the date and time I requested as they were already booked This is 3 weeks out and I was told only 1 day notice was needed for my group of 60. I asked about a different time and she said probably but she would need to double check as to not over book themselves. Fair enough. She took my info and said she'd call "right back". It's now been 24 hours since that phone call and no call back.

Wonderful BBQ with friendly service. Messy food and they provide wet wipes. You can choose fries instead of chips and the fries are perfectly crispy and seasoned well. Clean tables and good drinks!

Dry rub spareribs were well flavored. My choice of sides was salad and beans. Definitely a Tuesday night all you can eat favorite.

Baked potato was not as good as usual. Overdone. The peach ice tea was weak. Most of the time it is delicious. Service is always great.

All around was a great experience! Excellent food and service! Definitely will go back again!

Lovely lunch with a friend. Just didn't like being interrupted several times asking if things were ok.

Absolutely delicious. I ordered the Hog Heaven. The pulled pork was melt in your mouth and probably the best I have ever had. I definitely will be back and telling everyone I know about this place!

All you can eat ribs on Tuesdays! The wife said let's try it and we did. She has the BBQ Club sandwich and I had the ribs. $20 for all you can eat is a really good price considering most places are $25 for full racks. The meat was smoked well and had a good flavor. Fell off the bones as well. Beans were good and Mac n Cheese was fresh. Larry seemed to be the only server on and was masterfully handling about 8 tables. The Carolina sauce was their best sauce. So good the wife put it on her sandwich. Will definitely be back next time we pass through.

The ribs were falling off the bone tender and delicious. The sausage was also amazing. Meredith was spot on with her recommendations.

My boyfriend ordered a meal that came with ribs and wings. It was laughable when it came out with literally 1 rib on the plate. The waitress said that was normal even though we both thought the menu sounded like it would be more than 1 rib. She did tell us after we were done eating and paying, there was an option to add more ribs, which he would have if he knew it was 1 rib. Aside from that, the food and service were good!

Great food! My wife had ribs and I had the Club Sandwich. The best sandwich I have ever had, it blew my d! €* clean off!

Food was some of the best BBQ I've ever had. Price was very reasonable for the amount of food you get. Recommend trying it.
