Big fields to romp in. Often wetter and muddier han Thornberry, also much less crowded. Poop bags available year-round; water available from about April- October. Update: Just visited yesterday (11/7/2022) and noticed that they had added agility equipment like Thornberry. Will add pics soon.

Been here numerous times and had a great time! So many friendly people and dogs. Plenty of parking and restrooms on the grounds.

Our doggo loves it here. There's usually a bucket of balls at the gate, people are friendly, lots of room.

Bring your bag and remember your tag. Everyone benefits from cleaning the dog park. Thank you everyone for your efforts

Awesome! We recently tilled up the creeping charlie in our back yard and planted grass seed. Since doing that we have had to keep our dog Reggie out of the yard. This dog park is a great place to take him, everyone we meet is super friendly and nice. It has a few toys for him to play with, the downside is it fairly plain Jane. There is no water (so we bring our own) its nice wide open, no obstacle course or anything special and no pond or body of water for him to play in either

There is three areas you can bring your dog to play with other dogs. Two of them are about the same size, maybe an acreage or two each and the third is smaller, for older dogs or dogs that don't play well with others but need some space to run. Multiple dogs and parents showed up and the pups had a wonderful time running around playing. There is poo bags at the dispense at the entrance to the areas and a large garbage can where you take the dogs leash off. The park is free but the suggest the same old as any park, (tags, fixed, font bring if in heat, ect)

I prefer this dog park because it is close to my home and it is smaller, so alot of the same dogs and owners are usually there. My dog excites easily so fewer dogs is better for her. And she's a talker, so that annoys people who don't know her. I would give it 5 stars but I think it needs more lights.

A convenient dog park for the east side of Iowa City. No path for human walkers, and little in the way of amenities. But, if there are other dogs there, it's lots of fun.

A fine park. Not as well maintained and much smaller compared to the thornberry park, but still plenty of room for your pup to run and play. They do have 3 separate sections as well for special needs dogs or puppies that get overwhelmed.

Not well kept, just a pit of a park. At least one of the gates is almost always broken. For a park that makes you pay, there is never anyone there checking tags and cleaning up like the other parks. Unfortunately it is the only current option in town since the other park is closed for almost a whole month.
