Being a Southern IA native that lives in a big city nowadays, I am amazed at how great the food is here considering we have soooo many options around our house. 10 out of 10 recommend eating here. Friendly hometown feel with great food!

Very nice place. More seating than I thought! Our waitress was very friendly. The food came out hot, and it really wasn't bad priced. Definitely will go back again!

It's exactly what the name says Bar and Grill, enjoyed a cheeseburger and fries both were very good. A very thick burger patty don't order a double unless you haven't eaten in a week!
Staff was awesome, place was clean overall a great place to grab a bite if ever passing through Mt. Ayr!

Great place, food is really good, great selection to choose from on the menu. Very courteous. Great place to take the family. Very pleased, will be on our places to stop when we are back there visiting.

Quick and simple lunch! Highly recommend, friendly staff and cooks! It is cash only, but they do offer an ATM inside the restaurant.

Stopped in for Lunch for the 1st time since moving to the area in December. I had a Cheeseburger and fries while my daughter had a double Cheeseburger and the mac and cheese bites that she really enjoyed. Portions were great and servers were Friendly. We will be back again.

It was ok, got the tenderloin and fried cauliflower. The cauliflower was great, The tenderloin was not crispy and overcooked.

Four of us went in for the steak dinner special that night I don't think any of them were cooked properly however the service was good

Food is high price. 6.00 cheapest sandwich and the fries were extra, 3.00. Only place in town open. Took a long time to get waited on and food took a long time to get. We were there around 1pm, place wasn't that busy.

One of the waitresses has the most beautiful eyes you'd ever see. Her names Becky. Ariel, she is super witty her actual name is Cassie. Or Chelsea Might be Chelsea. The cottage cheese on point (straight out the container). Make sure you use lots of pepper. Great food and even better drinks. But Chelsea was the focle point and the industry standard of good service.

Good food, fast service, but horrible pie. The pie was unappealing visually, and was just plain awful. Staff should probably watch their language.

I love the food and staff at Rumors. Probably one of my most visited restaurants. Waitresses are busy but good at what they do. Chelsey and Ashley are a hoot as always and Aimee is super friendly and chill. Definitely recommend eating here if you have or haven't already, it never disappoints! Also, food is very reasonably priced and you should not leave hungry! Just make sure to bring cash or check as there is not option for debit/credit cards

Been by there for a long time always wanted to stop finally did we was very pleased it was well worth it food was great staff was attentive people was friendly we will definitely be back
