S & H Electric Co reviews
7Very professional, use to go here 30+ years ago, the boys know their stuff. 2016 Indian Roadmaster
The fellas that work here are super nice, extra patient and extremely knowledgeable, thorough and quick with repairs. Due to life I couldn't ever get over there any sooner then 5 minutes after close to drop off and pick up of my alternator and they accommodated me and stayed open both times. I dropped off my alternator at 5: 10 pm and they had it done by 11: 00 am the next day. Great prices and my alternator is better then new. Thanks fellas!
They were nice and polite. Had the alternator in stock and was a very decently priced.
I went in there to get an altenator tested for my daughter's car. I went to Auto Zone and they told me it tested good. The owner went the extra mile with me asking a few questions. He took the altenator apart and found out the brushes were bad. I put the altenator on the car and it runs flawlessly. I will always go here for starter and altenators. Great people and great to work with.
Saved about 60 dollars having my starter rebuilt here rather than exchanging it at the auto parts store!
S&H Electric has always been a good place to go for starter repair, or the parts to repair the starter myself and they've been a great go to business for alternator, generator, and starter repair
I just took a ragged out starter to these guys, a 6volt from 1959. One of the only shops around like this anymore. Seemed like solid people to me. They turned it around in 24 hours (faster than ordering one), and it looks like new. Was it pricey? Not compared to buying a rebuilt starter (if you can find one in stock, about 60% that cost), and about what I expected considering you're paying a skilled trades person to do something that's going to take a couple hours plus parts. If you're looking for the kind of shop your dad or grandpa used to go to, this is it.
