Saddleback Ridge Golf Course & Driving Range reviews
13Kicked off the course with no reason given. Owner refuses to give a reason. Avoid this course at all costs! If I could give negative stars, I would.
Fun, wide open course. Forgiving fairways. Soft greens and putt at a decent pace. Usually had a good pace of play.
Nice course and friendly staff. Parking lot could be a little bigger simply because it’s a little tight with how busy the place gets
Amazing day of golf and hospitality on June 11,2023 for our annual fundraiser outing. Staff was amazing and course is in pristine shape.
A solid, well-kept golf course that is open enough for people who spray the ball with fast, protected greens to provide a challenge for better players. Par is 72 with 3 Par 3's, 4's, and 5's on the front and back. Gusty winds from the south can shorten some holes considerably, while other holes will require 2-3 more clubs than a calmer day. Recent upgrades to the clubhouse, and driving range were long overdue, but that has come at the expense of increased green fees. Overall, it would be difficult to find a lot to complain about after playing 18 at Saddleback.
I played nice holes today and played two rounds in the past month. The course is challenging but still enjoyable. The course is in immaculate condition - especially the driving range, greens and tee boxes. The grounds crew is doing a fantastic job this year.
Got there for an 8: 10 tee time at 8: 05 and waited in line for 10 minutes to check in. We get to the desk and he says we’re past our tee time and he can’t work us in at any point that day. We gladly took our business elsewhere.
I would normally give this course atleast 4 stars. Great layout, well manicured, maintained year round and the staff is usually nice. But, they give no notice to green aeration when you make your tee time. You literally don't know the greens have been aerated until you're on the first green. And no discount for the poor shape of the aerated greens either. Also speaking of price, why does the price go up EVERY YEAR? ! Just a little while ago it was around $40 for 18 and a cart on the weekends. Pretty much on par with all the other courses in the area. But no, y'all go and raise prices and keep raising them. It's now $56 for 18 and a cart on the weekend? ! Are you serious? And I'm supposed to pay the Visa fee for you too, just so i can use my debit card? ($2 extra if you use your debit card) Sorry but, your course isn't that special. At that price you're approaching destination level courses and Saddleback aint that. I can see raising prices a little to pay for the clubhouse renovations but those were done a few years ago. The course doesn't have sand that needs to be taken care of. It has only two ponds. Where's the reasoning behind the constant price raising? As if people aren't already hurting enough during these times. I used to go to Saddleback 3-4 times a year and always recommended it to others but not anymore. Pleasant Valley is nicer and more challenging and Brown Deer has one of the most interesting layouts ever. Not to mention both are less expensive by far.
Amazing local golf course, in great condition, fair prices. Easy to get to and park, friendly service.
Love this course! One of my favorites! A challenging yet forgiving course. Friendly staff and the course is well maintained! Top notch!
Good course, well kept. Driving range often closes earlier than advertised (stretch of the word, hours aren’t posted online. Usually just a sign on the door.) Which has made for wasted trips and disappointment when your trying to work on your swing.
Well maintained course. Fun for casual rounds since it's very open with few trees or other hazards. But still challenging.
One of my favorite courses in the area. The uphill par 4's & 5's will test you.
