Got me in and out in a timely manner. Let me use a spare desk to get work done while I waited. Nice people!

Great service, the tech was on his game and saved me $450 by realizing my new windshield didn’t need calibration. I’d def go back.

Called them 4 times and was hung up on each time. Called the warranty customers care number and was hung up on twice.
Any damage to my windshield I went to them twice and they have fixed it don't know what their problem is now.

Was ready for me at the appointed time. Took the time to explain what was going on with my windshield removal and what they did to make it right.all without changing the quote.
Excellent service.

At 1st, I heard heavy metal music from the garage but quickly stopped. All were very professional. The tech explained the work and answered all my questions.

We were told it would take 1.5 to 2 hours to replace our windshield. We went to the shop in Grimes IA. It took 4 hours. Our appointment was at 1: 00. We live 30 minutes away in Des Moines.so we poked around some stores until 3: 00 thinking it should be done. We did not get any text letting us know they had not even started it until 3: 00. When I called at ask when it would be done they said probably not until 4 or 4: 30 so we drove 30 home not wanting to waste any more time. We no sooner got home and they sent a text at 3: 30 saying it was done. I called to make sure it really was done and I was connected to someone in Davenport. He just said he showed on his screen that it was done. So we drove 30 back to the shop to get our car. The promise to text us with the progress did not happen. The method they use to communicate needs a LOT of work.

Horrible customer service. Couldn't talk to anyone because phone system automated and wasn't able to work through problems. Just gave up.

Safelite replaced my windshield. There"s something wrong because the trim keeps popping off on the driver's side. It's almost impossible to reach a real person. We've been dealing with this issue for over 3 months with no response.

Staff is friendly. Waited a month to get in for repair. When I got my vehicle back there was a feature that was no longer working. Waited another month for a new appointment. They had scheduled me for the Ames location for some reason, and I did not receive any sort of confirmation or reminder about the change of location until I had already left my car and keys in the lockbox at the grimes location. I’m very grateful grimes was able to accommodate. Unfortunately the problem was still not fixed and they have told me to see my dealership for a repair. Another month away, another day without a vehicle. It cost a lot of money for the replacement windshield and labor involved to recalibrate the sensors in my vehicle only to find out they are not able to and I have to take it somewhere else. It’s also very obvious that work has been done on my car (uneven seals, parts lifting up in a way they hadn’t before) I don’t expect perfection but overall I’m pretty disappointed with this inconvenient experience.

Appointment went off without a hitch, glass looks great. If I have any feedback at all it's that I get too many darn texts about my appointment coming up, etc but I'm not going to fault them for that because I guess it's better to have too much than too little.

Took my 2019 Subaru Outback here for a windshield replacement and lane assist recalibration. It was completely covered by insurance. Dropped it off and went to run some errands.

Got a call roughly 30 minutes later and was informed that there's a code in the system and that they would not be able to touch anything for "liability purposes. "

I contacted the local Subaru dealership and told them what the code was. Upon informing them of the code, it was discovered that it was an ECM code, something that is completely separate from the lane assist system and would have no bearing on anything. The dealership looked at this mysterious code and ran all sorts of tests and came to the conclusion that everything is fine and that Safelite was simply just trying to get out of doing work on my vehicle. They informed me that this is not the first time this has happened, that Safelite repeatedly does things like this even though they have the equipment and knowledge to do so.

Because of this situation, I wasted my time, took an unnecessary day off work, had to get a babysitter for my daughter so I could ensure a quiet workplace for the Safelite employees and fuel. So thanks for everything!

Windshield will need to be replace because the crack is right in the middle of my field of vision and it keeps growing. HOWEVER, the company feels that waiting 2 weeks is ok! What kind of logic is that. I cannot drive and I won't. I should make Safelite pay for the cost of a rental car for when I go to and from work. I VERY STRONGLY do not recommend this company.

I can only say that my experience with them wasn't a good one. They're BIG, I'll say that

Scheduling is a nightmare. I came to this company via my warranty company. I scheduled an initial appointment to have a technician come to my residence to exchange a windshield. The technician called me the day of the appointment and asked if I would bring it into the shop instead because it was a complicated replacement. When scheduling, they knew what the year, make, and model of the vehicle was, so I don't understand why they could not have disclosed this originally. However, I obliged, and drove 20 minutes to the shop. At the shop, after waiting for an hour, I was told that they couldn't do the replacement due to a safety code which had to be fixed before I could have the windshield replaced. Two weeks later, i am told by the repair shop that the safety code was due to the crack being in front of the sensor and once the windshield was replaced, the code would go away. Meanwhile, the sensor did still work properly. So I rescheduled with Safelight with this information. Another two weeks goes by, and I het a phone call saying I missed my appointment, one day early. We reschedule again, I drive 20 minutes for service, now I am a day early. Each time I was told a service manager would contact me about the problem but no one calls, no reminders are sent, no confirmations are provided. I am not perfect, but I cant imagine that twice in a row I could make that huge of an error with my scheduling as each time I scheduled I immediately wrote the appointment down in my book. My favorite part, is how they continued to attempt to prove to me that I was wrong and make excuses, when I didnt challenge it in the first place and simply asked to confirm the appointment, yet again. I don't need excuses. A woman tells me that “Im sorry we are so booked up right now. ” While showing me the date. I asked her to send me a confirmation, not give me a an apology and an excuse.

Now, I will call my warranty company to make alternative arrangements. I can not say if they do a good job or not with the actual service. The customer service could be infinitely improved.

I was afraid the price was going to be high but they were $200 cheaper than the smaller guys with some shortages in supplies. They warned me of a late day completion but dropped it off the night before and it was done first thing. The counter help both times were great.

Technician chipped paint trying to get frame off. He also left sprinklles of glass and other debris on dashboard. Left without put adhesive on one side of frame. Called the following day on Saturday and voicemail stated that office was closed even though says open until 5pm. Technicians came back on Tuesday and put adhesive on the one side frame and a bit more on the other side. Afterward, told me to leave tape on for 4-5 days as if I took tape off too early instead of him forgetting to put adhesive in the first place. Probably won't use again if insurance company doesn't insist.

I took my car for multiple chip repair on windshield at the grimes location. The staff is super friendly and professional. Garrett (technician) was super nice and explained in detail as to how he will fix the windshield including buffing of the residue. Will definitely recommend to friends and family members.

I tried getting a hold of a person on my friends glass claim and could not. I was hung up on twice. Literally no way to talk to a person if there is an issue. Terrible customer service.
