Saima Shahid, MD, Ames IA

Today I saw Dr Shahid at McFarland south in Ames. This was my fourth visit. I can not say enough about her kindness and communication skill. She is knowledgeable without a bit of egotism. I needed a new family doctor as mine had retired. Worried about starting over but all fears laid to rest, I am a breast cancer survivor and wanted a woman doctor. She is knowledgeable about my fibromyalgia/chronic fatigue. Treating my blood pressure presently. She is my new cheerleader encouraging me to walk, diet. Sleep. I feel there is nothing I couldn’t share with her. No question is stupid to her. The buildings is new and good parking. Just off interstate if coming from out of town. If you are male or female, young or old I feel you would be happy with her care.
